I have an issue and no one at home seems to know how to help.
I'm using a Vizio tv for my xbox. Sound is coming from tv and headset. I usually just mute, but I want only sound to come through my headset when playing games. I don't want to mess with mute. But I still want to be able to have sound through the tv when not using headset to be able to listen to music. I've looked online with my model number, but never could find the answer. Model is E320VL
If anyone knows how to help, I'd appreciate it.
I had an issue with my headset, but figured that one out since posting.

I just turn the volume down to zero on the tv when I want to run my headset. There's probably a different set up, but I don't really care - it's easy to hit the volume button on the remote, lol.

Yeah, mute or volume isn't too hard. I just forget sometimes. Our other tv is a Vizio and they sit close to each to other. The less I use the remote, the less chance I have at accidentally messing with the other tv.

I think volume settings persist across more Tv's than muting does, so if you totally turn down your volume, the tv should remember the volume every time you power on.
