Did anyone else get this? I'm 100% positive I didn't buy it, as I'm not going down the Soviet line for a while. It just showed up tonight. Any ideas?

Agreed, it's a great way to help new players get a boost. The Texas alone cost 20 quid, the free xp is worth over 10 pounds, with the Diana thrown in it's easily 35 pounds worth of free goodies.

Do note that it is a horrible ship. I derp around in mine every now and then, but you could have your crew load the shells on their backs and swim to the enemy faster than the guns can deliver them.

No worries, it's out of the rotation for the time being anyway. The Texas on the other hand, will get a lot of use. Very easy to play and really rakes in credits.

The refer a friend program is insane on this game. How they didnt add it to world of tanks I'll never know. The person who does the referral gets a huge amount of stuff too, so it benefits people to refer a friend, not just the person who gets referred.
gifting tanks too. It just doesn't make sense. Why is this shit not implemented?! Are they retarded?

Specifically, it's a reward for playing your first battle. After your first battle at Tier VI, you receive the Tier V US Battleship the Texas, with its ridiculous late-war AA suite. Only 8 14-inch guns, but apparently it's well-regarded. Oh, and like 100k free experience.
