I thought this ship couldn't possibly be more fun, i was wrong. She just farms kills. Due to the torps thrown in too i'm thinking she's just as good a brawler as Bismarck if not better which is saying something.

I have used my Bismarck/Tirpitz secondary build captain in my Scharn several time...but still find that I do more average (and consistent) damage with a concealment/tank focus captain. Honestly I do more damage with that captain in the Tirpitz, too - but 10+km secondaries are too much fun not to use often.
I've tried both in the FDG but I get similar results with either...which leads me to believe that the FDG is simply a sub-par T9 BB (probably the worst T9 BB tied with Izumo).

You guys have been using the Manual control for secondaries captain skill right? Decreases spread of secondaries against a focused target by 60%?
I have it on my Gniesenau and it makes it waaaaay more accurate, it just disables the secondary guns unless you CRTL click a ship. It only fires at a single ship at once, and it wont automatically fire at any ship in range. It makes them sooooo much more accurate its nutty.

BFT, AFT, M-Sec, Secondary module, and secondary flags. I do wish when you used M-Sec the "off side" secondaries would still fire, but without the dispersion buff. Hope that makes sense... |

Yeah I know what you mean. It would honestly make sense, but I suppose there has to be something to offset the ridiculous power of that skill. Secondary guns SHRED soft skin targets like DD's and a lot of cruisers too. You dont really notice it, but it does actually grind ships down pretty well, especially when added to your main battery.
Against enemy battleships its not much good for anything but lighting fires and minor damage, but against light cruisers and most DD's secondaries are extremely dangerous. Its suicidal for a DD to get within 7kms of a Bismark. The secondaries can damage modules too I believe.

I have knocked a DDs engine out with secondaries before, so I believe you are correct on secondaries damaging modules. I often use the secondaries to start fires/force DCP out.
