Even before I started playing WOWS, I’d heard about the infamous “bot” programs that some players used to gain XP remotely. I’ve seen a few ships that made me think they were bots from time to time, but never had proof until this past weekend. Ladies, Gentlemen, and indeterminates, I would like to introduce you to OTDR1200.
Mr./Mrs./Ms./HeShe OTDR1200 was in 3-4 of my battles this past weekend and kept doing the same thing over and over. Basically, they would sail their Tirpitz towards the edge of a map, guns locked on a bearing and firing in sequence. I don't have a video but I do have screenshots showing them at the edge of the map, firing turret after turret at nothing (literally off the map).
If you look at their stats, they have 593(!) PvE games in the past 7 days with 484 in BBs but only a 22% survival rate and a 75.89% win rate. In Co-Op.
I reported them to WG and got the "we will look into it" script. So, since we can't name and shame on the official forums, I thought I'd give the Bunker folks a heads up. As Jingles is want to say "Useless as tits on a fish."
