I signed up for the free 2 Santa boxes with the legion, however not received anything.
Am I missing something really obvious?

Give it a bit. Next time you log in, toward the left of the screen you should have two containers ready to open.
I got like 600 doubloons out of them. Not great, but not bad.

So I got 20 $3 boxes last week. Got a tier VI Gallant, and VII Hood, and a V Oshtokwhatever (Soviet DD). That was it, other than camos and dubs. Got 20 $5 boxes tonight and hooooooly crap: Kidd Alabama Tirpitz Molotov Anshan 180 days of premium. That's like $300 for my $70+ investment.    |

Wow, lucky! All i've had are Type 59 and Tree camo. Got loads of the camo but no ships for me  they are making my Gniesenau grind alot more bearable at least though. |

Now I'm torn between
Spending 25 on Santa boxes( not sure best combination) and taking my chances.
Or spending 25 and getting a tier 5 premium.
Desicions lol.

The Oktyabrskaya Revolutsiya which seems to be a good ship by all reviews, and the Huanghe, which is proving to be challenging to play. Still, two ships out of $3 boxes isn't too bad.

In the 5 boxes I received (2 free crates, 1 small, 1 medium, and 1 large), I opened:
50 Zulu flags
50 Papa Zulu flags
15 Frosty Fir camos
10k free XP
30 Dragon flags
Essentially, I can haz all the captain XP!
