We decided two ships occupying the same niche at the time is one too many. Get grinding, you can still get Missouri for about two more months. From 0.6.15 patch notes.

Musashi is rumoured to be the replacement. Yes. To me an Iowa with radar is more desirable than a nerfed-to-fit-T9 Yamato. So I'll continue working hard to acquire the Missouri before she's gone. Only 250k XP away now. |

Musashi, Yamato sister ship, is replacing Missouri?
Is Musashi going in the US tree or do they not want a Japanese free xp battleship to compete with a US free xp battleship?

She'll be in the Japanese tree, for 920,000 free XP, I belive. Wargaming doesn't want 2 tier 9 free XP ships available at the same time for some reason, which is why they'll remove Missouri when Musashi is added.

Rumor has it WG also felt the Missouri was "too cheap" at 750k Free XP and that is partially the reason for her removal. It's also suspected that WG feels the Missouri is too strong in general, so like all OP prems they are removed from sale. |

Missouri, is from far, the best monney maker in the game. Give her a gamescom cammo (50% more monney ) or a GNB cammo (20% more money ) and few monney flags and you have ANY game beetween 600k and 1M credit net.
Radar helps her to have OPness for sure, it's a very good ship
i expect Musashi with a same talent, more or less, because when i pay 150 euros a ship, i have expectations ^^
