USN CV rebalance

They need to put that Dev back on the WOT console team. RIP USN CV line! Fun stops at the langley there!

Ok I noticed that on my Bogue. People don't seem to use that build much though. I've run into more rangers using the no fighter build than Bogues playing air superiority. Still sucks they take out the choice. Still have manual drops and strafing, and no real training on how to do it. I can do it, but it's still very new and unrewarding for me. And really, whats the fun of going all the way to tier 10 and only getting 6 flight groups? Dumb it down by taking out strafing and manual drops, not by giving one flight group option.

Japanese CV's have smaller squadrons. 2 less planes per squadron. So fighters are outnumbered.

Every single american CV I have ran into so far has used an air superiority build. Their bombers are incredibly powerful too.
Lower tiers, everyone uses air superiority. Everyone.

AP bombs for high tier american ships sounds interesting, but I would imagine it will be retardedly overpowered. A tier 8 carrier one hits a tier 7 battleship if it coordinates a full bomber attack with all squadrons, as things stand right now. Most ships, american BB's especially, have piss poor deck armour.

Imagine how devastating a bomber attack will be when each bomb hits for 10,000 damage, and they penetrate armour? Its basically giving IFHE to an HE weapon that hits for 10,000 max damage per bomb. British BB's will be jealous of the HE damage dealt.

If they decide to make it similar to regular ship weapons, where AP bombs dont cause fires or HE damage, but regular pen damage, it would be even more powerful, because each bomb could citadel a ship, especially ones weak to long range plunging fire.

I am going to keep an open mind to this CV alteration, not all changes are negative. The HD update for WoT made some tanks armour much more reliable, right?
