Save USS Texas with Project VALOR
USS Texas (BB-35) has been in rough shape for quite a while and the recent battering from Harvey didn't help. First launched in 1912 and serving in both World Wars; this iconic ship is the last dreadnought left in the world, the first permanent US museum battleship, and was present at D-Day (even filling her torpedo blister to cause a list for more gun elevation). Dry dock is currently the only hope she has, as she takes on roughly 300 tons of water per day. Right now Wargaming is giving 100% of the proceeds from any purchase of the USS Texas, the new Lone Star camo (for USS Texas), and/or the Project VALOR "Giving Thanks" Flag to the Battleship Texas Foundation. So right now you can buy a digital ship and help save a real ship. If you have no need for any of these things, but would still like to support - donations can be made directly at the Battleship Texas Foundation's website.
