As mentioned in the title, I'm thinking of going back to PC gaming, not entirely and I will still play console but there are some great games that haven't made it to console. I'm also thinking a laptop, but prices for a decent gaming laptop seem a little insane. Anyone have any advice on this? What should I buy?

I have the ASUS RoG laptop, I don't remember exactly what model this is I'm sure I could find out if you'd like, I spent a bit over $2k for it but I haven't been disappointed with it at all really. There have not been too many games that I can't play on the best graphics or close to it. I can't remember where I bought it from but part of the reason I spent so much is because I was able to customize it and get one that had what I wanted in it. I either bought it right from ASUS or Newegg. I bought this about 2, maybe 3 years ago so I don't know what they have now but even though the price was high I think this is a pretty damn good laptop. I hope you find what you're looking for and that this may have helped even the slightest lol.

Get a laptop with either the 1070 or 1080 nvidia. I have an old (I mean OLD) ASUS G2 gaming laptop. Asus are good platforms. Go with the G752 or G702. Or go with a MSI laptop. I also advise having the is on a SSD.
