I shoot as well. I collect antique military firearms; it's funny outshooting a brand new scoped remchesterby with a 80+ year old rifle with iron sights. It gives me a warm fuzzy when I can out shoot scoped AR's with my mid-50's HRA Garand and PPU .30-06. Plus, the boom from a .30-06 puts a smile on my face. The Garand. The only gun I really care about getting. Once I move out def getting one.

I bought a Colt AR15 H-bar. Open sights etc. It is pretty sweet but I am very mediocre, at best. Some of the guys I shoot with are so good. It is pretty amazing what people can do (tight groupings or hitting something super far out there etc). I'm sure it is a cool feeling for you. I wouldn't know lol.

I have things I like to call my hobbies, but I don't do them nearly as much as I'd like to. When it gets warm around here I like to go out and kayak. I really enjoy shooting, but again, don't do it nearly as much as I'd like.
One hobby, that I wanted to make a profession, was flying. I'd love to get back in the air again.

If the ammo isn't loaded to the proper M2 ball pressure curve, you could blow up the gas system. Course, you could solve the ammo problem by buying an adjustable gas plug. Or you could reload, or buy the Hornaday M2 ball loading of .30-06

Oh yes, this as well. And that giant aluminum thing is a target my cousin and I made. A bunch of little spinners.

I've gotten very good results from them. The HXP ammo from the CMP is great, but getting more expensive every few months. My usual lot of 800 or so rounds is mostly 80's manufactured ammo. Buying the adjustable gas plug from Schuster is around $40 and can solve these problems.

S&B .303 cases last like 2 reloadings tops, PPU .303 lasts ~4ish, which is good for .303 because of how far the case neck moves when you fire a Lee-Enfield.

PPU and HXP brass are great for that.
Magtech brass is shit, just like their ammo.

I've heard HXP is good for reloading, but I haven't needed to pick any up.
A couple of years ago a found a bag, still sealed, of 500 brand new virgin winchester .30-06 brass for $15 lol.
The only .30-06 I have is a 1903 springfield that I din't shoot that often, so it's gonna be quite some time before I need more .30-06 brass.

Movies, movies, and did I mention movies? Ever since I was a wee lad I've studies filmmaking and history. And up until a year ago I used to write reviews and various articles for a number of sites. Plan on doing so once again when I get something with a proper keyboard.

Been going to karate with my wife as we dont do alot together and I have successfully got her into mountain bikes, living so close to the new forest in Hampshire its nice to hit the trails and stop off in a country pub for a scrumpy or three.

I've dabbled in far too many hobbies in the past. Currently I'm addicted to chasing small groups with my 10/22 in it's factory configuration: I've also started expanding my Glock Collection and just need to pick-up a 26 to complete the 9mm set: Good shooting there! Gives my Rem 513 a run for it's money.

Great weapon!! It's the oddball to go with my other handguns- Ruger 1911, Ruger Blackhawk .41 Mag, Ruger Vaquero Colt .45, Ruger GP100 .357 Mag, S&W Model 17, Colt Diamondback .22 (x2), Colt Woodsman .22 and Rugee SP101 .22.
