I've decided I'll free XP to the fully upgraded tier VIII heavy (Emil I?) and grind the rest from there. I just don't have any interest in tank destroyers anymore, so that will only happen once I have all the other tanks I want.
Edit: I should add that I'll buy the S1 for crew training, and probably that tier VI autoloader thing as well. I'd like to have two crews with sixth sense and BiA at the very least.

Pardon my ignorance, but when are they coming out? The TD's do look interesting, with a slightly different play style to the regulars, so they might interest me.

We don't know that yet. I've seen October 5 quoted by a few random people, but I have no idea of the veracity of their claim. The sooner the better; I'm kinda bored. |

The TDs don't really interest me at all. The whole stealth gameplay doesn't interest me.
The heavies however I've been waiting for for a long time. I assume WG will nerf some of if not all of the 3 heavies, especially the krangvan and it's impenetrable turret.
The krangvan basically makes the T57 and the 50B completely obsolete.
Regardless I, like you, will be free XPing to tier 8, then grind from there.
I will be buying both premium vehicles for crew training, but I think the tier 6 autoloading medium looks to be more my style.

I'll free XP the tier 6 medium and use it(and the tier 6 prem if they actually release that in a reasonable time frame) to train a crew or three before moving up the line for the Emil I and Krackvagn. The TD's can fuck off and die in a hole.

The tier 8/9/10 have 8 degrees of depression, a four round magazine (tier 8 has a 105 and the 9/10 have 120mm guns) and about 180mm of frontal turret armour on the tier 8, 215 on the tier 9 and 225 on the tier 10. And they're so sloped nothing can pen them when using the gun depression. |

I'm wondering if the VI premium will go on sale this month . It's like 3,700 on the TT . Be nice to have another trainer.
If you do grind the TD line play the V like a scout. Makes it less painful . The VI sux . The VII is surprisingly kinda fun .

I'm half way through tier 6.
Only decided to go down the line after (1) Getting one of those free crews from the ops, and (2) seeing the emils in action. Look fun and i can see them being as good or better than 50b and t57.
