Today has been a mixed bag for sure, unexpectedly got laid off at work. I hated the job but wasn't going to quit until I had something else lined up. I also hate change, so maybe this was the shove I needed.
Anyway, got home "early" and still in a bit of shock, so I did the best thing I could and fired up WoWS. Put some of my "good camo" on my Pensacola and made it to my first Tier 8 ship. USS New Orleans is now in my port awaiting her first tour. I do have the Bismarck, but I got that through the campaign, so I skipped the T3-T7 KM BBs (my preference anyway) - so the New Orleans is the first T8 I actually survived the grind to obtain. Since I'd been saving my Free XP for the Missouri (which I used on the Nelson) - so no Free XP was used in this grind. I still plan to get the Missouri, but it'll take a little now since I can't exactly affording converting XP even though the sale is coming up. Skewed sense of accomplishment, isn't it? But hey...I have her now!
