I don't know how many of you play with mods, but I do - and I really feel like they make the game SO much better. I use the modpack from Aslain.com and all of the mods are not cheating according to WG and are all safe to use. Many of the mods have actually been adopted in the game, like the smoke timer.
Here's the ones I recommend: - Zeiss sniper x15 zoom - gives 1 additional zoom in level, more zoom is available, but makes it hard to hit fast ships. - Improved Battle Chat V2 - displays ship name by player name in chat. - Transparent minimap by Fugetsu - you can make it even bigger than the stock map and it doesn't obscure your vision as much. - MonstroMarkers - shows what consumables friendly ships are currently using and displays a little fire icon by the player name of enemies on fire. Prevents you from using Hydro when a friendly near you is also using it. - Enable replays - just like it sounds, enables replays that save automatically in a folder called Replays in your WoWS directory. - Navigator - shows target ship angle relative to you. This is very helpful in learning what is/isn't broadside, but I recommend using it as a learning tool and not becoming reliant on it.
There are many, many more and most have a preview window and description so you know what you're getting. You can also get voices, historical skins, shell tracers, and just all kinds of different things. You do have to update the modpack whenever the client is updated, but he usually has them available same day.
