I just got a 10 pt captain for my Belfast and am almost at 10 pt for the Perth and Duca d'Aosta. I a bit undecided on whether I should do IFHE or CE first on them? I'm thinking CE first for Belfast since detection and radar range can be so close to each other and IFHE first on Perth and Duca. At 14 pts they will all have IFHE/CE. Thoughts?

I personally took CE expert on my belfast captain and then trained IFHE. Being stealthy and murdering DD's under 10km away is great fun.

CE on Belfast first. If you get spotted with CE, light off the radar and mulch the DD.
I went IFHE on the Perth and D'Asota just to increase the HE damage. I don't think you can go wrong either way though.

Thanks guys. Looks like I'll do CE before IFHE on Belfast and IFHE before CE on Perth/Duca.
Also, side note, Perth is best smoke ship because you have a plane for self spotting.

Told you the Perth is a little monster! She's one of my favorites.

Oddly enough, the 12.8km range hasn't been near as much of a hindrance as I thought it would be. Plus, it's easy to hit anything in range. On the other hand, I despise the Aoba and the 13.6km range. I guess that's what smoke will do for ya! I have had quite a few very good games in the Perth.

I did CE on d'Aosta first. Her HE rounds are pretty weak anyway, and fighting BBs isn't what she's meant for. CE lets me get closer to DDs and CLs before I'm lit up.

You make a convincing argument.

He does make a very good point. And, let's face it, the D'Aosta is perfectly designed to kite other ships back to the murderline of BBs.
