Just a heads-up, two of the better premiums are available. At Tier VI, the Perth is murderous, especially if you can get your hands on the special smoke upgrade from a Supercontainer. Your desk will be awash with seal-blood from all the clubbing.
And the Soviet Tier VII CL DD Leningrad is a great blend of a gunboat/torpedoboat that, if you have any interest in in Russian DDs, is well worth the money. Not to mention being hilariously fast!

Keep in mind that the Leningrad is a soviet DD, meaning she is really a very fast, very small, torpedo-chucking, 130mm Stalinium-firing super-light cruiser without a citadel....

I'm going to re-watch a couple YT vids on these today to see if I "need" them. I'm pretty satisfied with my current prem collection, tough. The Perth's smoke seems neat and I've see Lenny's do great, though.

My leningrad goes 45knts and has the extended speed boost on it lol. Great little gunboat with decent rudder shift time so can pepper people with HE. Torps are 8km in range so are useable and they are fast too (60knts IIRC). I love playing mine. As Yuri said it is a Destroyer Division leader so it is bigger than normal DD's but can pack a punch like a cruiser.
Not played the Perth but have come up against them.
I will be picking up the De Grasse tonight so can give some feedback on the little Frenchy.
Been seeing some of the WG-CC running round in Kidds and Gallants. Not seen any BIG - E's yet.
Roll on the British BB's

Of the two, the Perth is more "fun" and easier to do well in. Sh'e sort of a mini-Belfast minus the radar but with the addition of Brit torps and "creeping" smoke. Downside is that you can't train any other captains in her right now....

Ouch. That seems rough when I think it might face the 19.1km range Kutuzov. Honestly doesn't bother me at all. Heck, most BBs outrange 90% of my cruisers and 99% of my DDs. Plus the Perth has the classic British maneuverability and that creeping smoke. Besides, at 19km, the Mikhail RussianBias will most likely be burning BBs. |

I just watched Flamu's vid on the Lenny. Nearly 50knts with flag and spood beast? Insane. Is it as much fun to sail around at top speed peppering reds as it looks like it would be?

Absolutely. You can actually outrun some torps in her too. Speed is life, chicks dig scars, glory lasts forever, and Stalin will occasionally smile upon you from Hell and guide your torps into the magazine of fascist BBs.
