Hmmm, I've never played any CVs (only own the Saipan) but the Big E just might join my fleet. The Gallant will be a first day purchase!

HMS Gallant will be purchased alongside the HOOD once they finally buff her into OP'ness. Not bothered about the other two.
On a side note did anyone complete the Hunt the Bismark campaign on the Test Server?? it looked like the final reward was the Bismark, what happens if you already own the Bismark?? (I dont but it is german BB weekend this weekend so will be ploughing through the battles)

Well it's nice to know everyone is jut as hyped about the big E as I am! I just unlocked the Langley earlier this week and really enjoy it! Ended up getting a Saipan to help train the captain. Played them only in coop to get used to the controls until last night. I took my Saipan out in random battle by accident and had a pretty decent battle. Tried the same with my Langley and ended up getting trolled. I had a DD trick me into torpedoing my self.  Definitely going to keep practicing. |

Big E Is such a badass looking carrier. I was going to get the USS Kidd but I think I'll probably save the money for the Enterprise... it would suck if she came out and I was broke ;_;

Read up on the controls and make sure you change the loadout from 3 fighter groups and one TB to an even 2/2 and sink some reds in Coop. |

And if you can change the loadout on the Langley I don't know how to do it. The Langley and Hosho don't have any loadout options and T4-5 CVs cannot manual drop (alt-attack). T5+ get different loadout options, T6+ get access to manual drops. The Saipan has two choices - a 3/0/1 loadout with three fighter squads and one enormous bomber squad, or a 2/2/0 loadout with two fighter squads and two torpedo bomber squads. You can switch by going to the modules and mounting the other Flight Control module, it's the only module that you can change since it's a prem ship so you don't have anything to research. |

Pretty stoked to see the Hood and CV-6 in game (although I don't really know that I want them) and glad to see some variety of prems. I'm also hoping maybe no more Atago/Kutuzov prems (ie: prems that are just flat better than anything in the tech tree).

Not really as spetacular I'm sure, but I have a full veiw of the battle, I can help my team better, and it's harder for someone to sneak up on me. |
