I have never ran food. Is it worth it? What type or line of tanks benefit the most from it?

I use it alot, but only on crews that have BiA, jack of all trades and the crew toughness perk whatever it's called as i drop first aid kit. It costs 20k, but if i have premium time i find i don't notice much of a profit drop off as i'm hitting more shots, getting more spots etc.

I use it on certain TT or premium tanks where it helps to squeeze a little more out of the performance. On many I run it as standard if the fire danger is low, particularly if it's a premium that has no problem making up for the 20k cost. I'll also switch to food on some tanks just for that little bit of help to get over the hump for the third mark. I normally run food on my M51, STB-1, STA-2, M53/55, ELC, Bert, FV305 and 122-44.

I only run it on tanks where some aspect needs a bigger boost -- usually, things like arty with long reloads. So I only run it on my 53/55 and T49 as of now. (Might run chocolate on my Borsig, too.)
But I am a baddie, so your mileage may vary.

I run food on damn near everything tier 7 and up so I can use vents instead of optics, but honestly barring a few tanks with absolutely horrendous gun handling (Type 59 being an obvious example) it's almost always just a pointless waste of silver, especially now that we’ve got the option of running two small repair kits instead.

The Type 59 is one of the tanks I was thinking could use a boost. I just never seem to do enough damage. I recently loaded it with full APCR and I'll try some food on there too.

I run it when I'm going for MoEs or trying to do well for events. 10% increase to everything means that it is good in most tanks. Even arty benefit from it with a 10% reload increase, shame you can't use more that one food consumable, I'd stack them up on my arty since most consumables are redundant except for maybe a small repair kit. The RoF 20%-30% increase would be very very nice
