Anyone else interested in this? The reveal trailer looked pretty good (obviously), and I'm interested in seeing some game play, but I think I'll probably end up pre-ordering.

the Tiger II gun in the clip sounds like the noob tube from the Original Modern Warfare.
Sounds more like this:

Well I've been a big fan of the zombies mode for years, but it got a bit silly tbh. Watching the trailers for the new game however has got me super stoked for this mode again. It looks absolutely fantastic, gory as fook and actually pretty scary...I'm actually excited about a new game for the first time in donkeys years..... Roll on November!

Very disappointed with the game. Really?... Full auto M1 Garand with a 30 round clip? Why not! The fuck is wrong with the front sight on the M1 Carbine? Why is it 2 inches tall? The game was buggy and awkward most of the time. The Nazis dropped Russian weapons on the beaches of Normandy. The tank battle segment made WoT seem like a realistic tank warfare simulator. The dogfighting sequence seemed like an afterthought, as if someone remembered right before they finished making the game.. "Oh shit... There were planes in WW2! Let's get those in the game too!" The AI, friendly and enemy, acted like they went to the 'ISIS School of Shooting'. They either stood upright in the open, crouched behind fences and sprayed their rifles in every direction, or predictably poked out from behind cover to take several shots at you. Friendly AI sprayed hundreds of rounds at enemies that were 10 ft away... and missed every shot. You pretty much had to personally kill every enemy soldier on the screen if you wanted to advance the mission. There were several stealth missions in the game, all of which were boring except for the part where you were the lady sneaking into a Nazi building. Even then, that one was meh. During some of the stealth missions, you could literally sprint through the enemy AI, maybe shooting a couple, and succeed. It was also full of 'Merica!. I think the only other country you saw, other than the Germans, were the French Resistance. During the Battle of the Bulge, I somehow started the mission with a Lee Enfield No. 4 sniper rifle... The only positive about the game is that the cut scenes are gorgeous and the first few minutes of the D-Day landing are well put together. I probably won't even bother with multiplayer or zombies. I regret pre-ordering this game.

While I admit I had to learn the controls on my own (with a few pointers from Jester) the mechanics of the game seem kind of silly...how many times do you have to shoot a German with a heavy machine gun to kill him. I like the scenery and some of the effects, but I can't see myself getting into any other video games if most of them are similar to this.

Compare the front sight post on a real M1 Carbine - vs. the one in the game - I also forgot to mention how fucking huge the rear sight aperture is on the M1 Garand in the game. It looks about 40 times bigger than the real one.

I didn't pre-order and now I'm thankful for that. Sounds like junk.

I'm watching gameplay and it looks like with the bolt-action rifles that you load a whole stripper clip of five rounds into it even when you've only fired off three or four or whatever. Seems legit.

Yup. Same with the Garand. If you reload, it ejects the partial clip and you reload 8 rounds.... And you don't lose the rounds left in the previous clip.

You would eject a partial clip, feed in a new one, then pick up the partial and separate the individual cartridges and pocket them. Boom! No waste! The Germans would even stop shooting when they saw you were reloading.

I didn’t play the Campaign. I jumped right into the multiplayer. I thought it had a retro feel to it. It played like a MW2/MW3 hybrid. Full disclosure, I Hoover at those games but I enjoy them.

Well talking to my brother who has it and some of my friends; they say it's aight, but some things seem off. But they are mostly MP guys. Of the aforementioned people, most agree BF1 is better. Maybe I'll wait for the price to drop if I decide to get it.
I haven't bought/played a CoD since Ghosts...

I uninstalled it last night while I was clearing up some more space on my HD.
No desire to play it any further.
