Ok, I've been testing this out for a while now after Panzer said his friend was doing it.
Whenever I mercy bounce off of someone when I know they're well within my low roll and I know the round will pen, and then I'll check their stats on the Portal, same if they bounce off of me. And so far out of 27 times (not a huge amount I know) it's been 100% accurate.
When I bounce off of them then it turns out their stats are worse than mine, but when they bounce off of me their stats are better than mine.
Call it tin hat all you like, but to me there's something to it.
