So with the recent buff to the E5, I figured I'll take the plunge. Used my free xp to research the top package (didn't spend a dime), and threw an all-star 12 perk crew in it.
What are some differences I should be aware of coming from the T32 (which I loved and still have)?
What would you fine gentlemen recommend for equipment? currently GLD, Vert. Stab, and Vents
Any tips would be appreciated

Use rammer, vents, and vertical stabilizer. The turret is still strong, but the commander's hatch is a glaring weakness. Pop over the ridge, shoot, wiggle the turret like crazy, and back away. The upper plate is also fairly strong, but if they're shooting that, you have too much tank exposed. It can side scrape effectively due to those fat ass tracks, but be mindful of the turret cheeks that can be penetrated. It really should be driven more like a fat medium.

It is a fat medium isn't it? Thing's too fast for it's own good!

Something to watch out for is that 120mm+ guns don't need to hit the hatch and can simply overmatch your roof unless you're using all 8 degrees of your gun depression. Otherwise there's not much to it, you hull-down and smash face(while praying to your deity of choice that skycancer fucks off) wherever you can, and wait for the real heavies to get stuck in and play a support role wherever you can't.

Oh and watch out for TD players with enough pen to easily go through the turret if you just turn the gun a bit away from them.
Most 103's are yumyum for tier X Td's, if they get enough time.

Its been a couple of years since I played the M103 but I do remember that it was prone to ammo rack damage. Having a crew with safe stowage trained is a must for this tank
