It looks like I might keep my xbox account active after the first of the year. New job and all that. My son is still getting me the PS4 so I guess I'll be running separate garages on both platforms.
I'm thinking about giving myself a little Christmas/Congrats on the new job present so I'm wondering about everyone's opinion on the 2 tanks featured in the store right now. The FCM 50 t and the BT-SV.
I have 2 under-trained French crews (ELC & arty) and an under-trained Russian crew (TD) but training other crews isn't my top priority although the BT-SV would seem like an excellent choice for that. I'm just looking for fun tanks to run and to expand my garage a little if I'm going to keep it active.
I might get one or both. Not really sure yet.
Any opinions welcome.
Thanks.

Plan on rolling in on you and your new place when the weather get warmer. Will be good to get your comparison running both systems with separate garages. Don't give up the T-20! Hana

Dado....I can't speak for the BT-SV, but I really enjoy the FCM. It's a big tank, but handles like a pretty decent medium. Quick to relocate, great RoF, good std AP pen, very good APCR, decent gun depression (-8 degrees), the tracks can absorb some shots, the armor isn't great, but does OK against T7s and it's fast and rams like a boss when needed. Makes good silver too!

We'll have the new pool in by warm weather so come on down. It'll take a while to build the PS4 garage up especially if I'm playing on 2 different accounts but it's not like I have anything else to do at night. The T20 is one of my favorites which is why I think I might like the FCM50t. Just a larger marshmallow with a big gun.

The FCM 50t is pretty solid. Play it like a medium and don't get shot. Like Snorelacks said, it makes good silver with the cheap, high penetration ammo. The BT-SV is mostly a novelty. It's fun once in a while, but it's not a regular runner for me.

I have the Liberte, otherwise known as the cock tank.
Anyway, don't play it like a heavy, play it like a big ass medium that can ram if needed, and you'll rake in the silver. I really like the 50T.
As for the BT-SV, the T-127 is the better tank, but the BT-SV is great for lolz. It turns like a battleship (seriously, it cannot turn), but, it is fast as hell and accelerates even faster. It's worth the 1300 gold theyre asking, it's an entertaining tank.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the FCM50t. Playing it like an obese Medium fits right in with the style of play that's working for me right now. I only played 1 game in it last night before I got sucked into a platoon playing different tiers but my first impression is good. The thing turns pretty well for its size and it has a good gun. I can deal with another tank with an aluminum foil hull in my garage. I'm still holding out on the BT-SV. I've already got a couple of Tier 3's and don't play that tier enough to warrant another tank in the garage at that tier.

I'm honestly not sure why the 50T has PMM. It has average armor sure, but the gun is great, view range is great, mobility is great, gun depression is good too. It has a lot of positives, few negatives.

It has a lot of positives, few negatives. I guess it's just a perk for a premium tank. I'm not complaining though. Not seeing 10's is fine by me.

I will ultimately need a crew to replace my elc crew, which will ultimately be moved to the Loraine and batchat. Then, my second crew (about to step into the 13-90), will ultimately go to the Amx 30 line. So I will be training up another crew over time.

50t can sidescrape pretty well when top tier, too. I can bounce T29 guns for days.
