A bit boring playstyle imo but the T57 Heavy is really good at it's role. Clip and reload, then repeat. I ran into a platoon of 5 T57s once in my T-54. That wasn't pretty for my team...they timed their reloads so there was almost always 1 or 2 firing at the same time, it was bad... |

I don't have the box on at the moment but i think it's Vert Stabs, vents and gld.
The reload time is way too short, it can take some hits and reload in time to finish the job.
I like the AMX 50B better, because of it's more mobile playstyle. But the reload last for a eternity compared to the T57.

Just a theory that seems to work for the American Auto Loaders (or at least the ones I've used.
Clip reload seems to be the average reload for gun x clips size
T69 - 90mm 6-6.5 secs x 4 clip reload 24-28 secs
T57 - 105 6 secs x 4 24 secs
T69 - 76mm 4 secs - x5 20 secs
As I said, just a Theory as I don't have enough autoloader experience

Both tanks have very similar guns in terms of pen and damage but the 50B is so much more maneuverable that it is much easier to get around opponents. I also prefer APCR to HEAT. In the T57 Heavy, I found that I am often shooting tanks face forward requiring the use HEAT more than I would like. |

I'm on the t54e1 and I took the t49 path like the op. With the exception of the t49 (what a piece of shit in my oppinion) this has been the funnest grind I've ever had. I think I'll go after the batchat once I'm done with this line.

I'm in the 57 now...love it.
I still have the 54e1 in the garage, sans crew at the moment. Not sure about keeping it, but I did have decent stats, so might put another crew in it at some point.
On a Lolz whim, bought back the t69 recently. Now that I have a better idea of how to play these auto loaders, I want to flip my stats on it, then may resell. Kinda like proving that I can, lol.

I've got a fully upgraded T54E1 and I'm loving it. I'd imagine that I'll enjoy the T57 from how much I like the E1.
With these autoloaders you just have to accept that you will occasionally be caught on a reload and get wrecked. It doesn't happen too much though if you're careful enough.
