Just wondered whether this was a 'buy' or 'don't buy' as it's on sale this month. I like Mediums and I like Tier VII and wondered whether this was a good one to add to the garage. Also how does it play? Does it earn decent silver and all that?

It's slower than I thought it would be, but the armour can be pretty bouncy. The gun is decent, but has low alpha. It's also quite large.

People like to bitch about it being shit but I really don't tihnk it is. Let's just have a quick comparison with the Standard techtree panther.
The techtree panther has the option of using the L/100 gun which has silly pen, however it has less dpm than the L/70 and the techtree panther's L/70 (which you can't mount with the top upgrades afaik) has a slightly slower RoF than the M10/PZV's L/70.
That gun at tier 7 is still pretty usable and due to the low damage is often ignored by people for a while. And the RoF really makes the damage stack up quick. I would use the L/70 on my panther if I could us it with all the other full upgrades but I can't :/
The mobility is good. It uses the same engine as the top upgrade on the techtree panther. The only thing you don't get is the upgraded turret. However the M10's turret actually turns faster than both the stock panther turret and upgraded one, which on a medium is very helpful. The techtree panther is pretty notorious for its crumby turret traverse too.
From my point of view if you enjoy playing the panther then the M10/PZV is a no brainer. Solid tank.
I own the M10/PZV on PC.
