I had a couple ideas that might curb early caps a little bit and help people git gudder...
1. Don't spawn cap circle right away. Wait for 5 tanks to die on each team. having a set time isn't good since it'll promote camping.
2. Spawn cap circle in one of 2-3 random locations on each team's side of the map. This might also help limit camping.

I think it shouldn't be activated until a set time has passed, maybe 3-5 mins?

True, but then you'd have time to get to their hiding places before they could cap out.

I'd be afraid people would tend to hide out until the time hits. Make those locations Arty unsafe. Make them hotspots. You sit still you get pumpkin twatted.
