How do you think they fare against their peers, and each other? I'm loving the AX, and i think i have a new favourite. i was a huge fan of the 4202 and the AX just perfected it imho. Among its peers, i rank it above the Patton, Leo and 121, put it equal with the STB due to the great gun, but still think the Soviets are kind of mediums due to their blend of mobility, camo, dpm, armour etc. The Chieftain i'm not sure about. The gun trolls me, and it dies when going up a hill, the view range is also a pain, 140s just vanish past 200m. So far i rank it above the IS-4, IS-7, 113, Maus, but i'm not sure it's better than the 215b or the E5. The E-100 is still the best tier X heavy imho.

AX is pretty much a more mobile 7/1 from what I gather but with the better gun performance one expects from being a tier higher and a better premium shell.

I've only run a couple battles in each so my sample size is small. However, I plan on trying to put them through their paces this evening. I like what I see so far.

The only thought I have about the Chieftain, besides I want one, is that it makes the 215b pointless at this point. The only area were the 215b stood out is in having the best dpm and gun performance of any tier X heavy and it's now been usurped.

You make a good point, however so far the 215b seems more reliable, either that or i'm just playing sub par atm which is possible, constantly wary of arty so perhaps rushing shots. |

I only managed to get a game in in the T8 4202P and i found the smaller gun was misbehaving alot. Going to give the AX a good run out tonight. Still working my way through British Heavies to get to the Chieftan.

I liked the 4202 as a T10 and had good fun in it, especially in a platoon of 2 or 3 of them. Sadly they have squashed it into the ground and made it not as enjoyable to run. Hoping to get a good session in tonight and run the AX to get a good feel for it and make some inroads on this T95 op. |

I did not have enough time to really get used to them and a long work day probably affected my performance. I feel like i should be able to have great games in both new tens, and i have plenty of time for tanks tomorrow.

Haven't played my AX yet, but the WoT devs hit it's visual model out of the park. It looks fantastic with the barrel wrap.
If it's a better Cent 7/1, that sounds pretty great to me. 3-4k combined damage games in it weren't that hard, I doubt they will be in the AX either.
Now I just need to grind the Conq again for the Chieftain, only 251k xp to go lol

Loving the Chieftain and CAX. I now possess not one but TWO Tier Xs I can run at the Ehundo in and give it massive cause for concern. Previously the only time I've managed that is in the Deathstar, but running anywhere in that is slow going. And the FV4202 was definitely NOT good for running at heavily armoured targets.

I'm slowly working up the chieftain line, and I don't have the ax... But I expect I'd like the ax better in the end. (Never said I was smart)
