right, these scales are a bit wonky. what tanks have 100 on any given statistic I wonder. it seems the patton and waffle would have 100 in view range right? they have 420 base view range.

When you press Y to look at tank details it actually gives a numerical value for the camo value, which is nice.

So far I've got three of the tier VIII lights. The T49, RU, and the LWT.
The T49 is a hoot but the gun handling needs to be addressed. This is the only tank I can think of where the turret rotation causes more reticle bloom than moving the entire tank does. That just doesn't make sense. I know some of you disagree but I think that WG needs to tighten up the gun handling on the T49.
The RU is as close to perfect as I can ask for. I absolutely adore that tank. By far the most competitive tier VIII light that I've played.
The LWT. Just bought it last weekend and was running a crew without sixth sense so as of right now I'm not ready to pass judgement. Time will tell.

I suggest you give the Chinese lights a go, I find them all to be pretty damn good in their own right. I even prefer the WZ-131 over the Bulldog. Then again, I do tend to favour the underfog.

I suggest you give the Chinese lights a go, I find them all to be pretty damn good in their own right. I even prefer the WZ-131 over the Bulldog. Then again, I do tend to favour the underfog. I've heard good things. My problem is a lack of crews. I only have one good Chinese crew. They float between the M5 Stuart and the Hype 59. It'll be some time before I build up any more Chinese crews. |

I've heard good things. My problem is a lack of crews. I only have one good Chinese crew. They float between the M5 Stuart and the Hype 59. It'll be some time before I build up any more Chinese crews. Yeah, that was frustrating to begin with, luckily I had the 59 and 64 to work with. I'd recommend buying the Type T-34 and use the doubles between that and the 59 for a while. It'll be worth it in the long run. I had to train up a fresh one in the 59-16 when I started up the heavy line, I know what you're going through. I'm at the point now my only light tank without SS and camo is the 12t. Any light tanker would love a go in my garage  |

I had a great match this morning, but probably ended up bottom of xp list (I didn't see cuz had to leave after I died but before end).
59-16
Tier 9 match
Erlenberg assault
South spawn
I went to that hill behind the castle.
I passive spot north behind castle, showed about 6 reds.
The spotting got more greens to come up my way across river, through fields. They're unspotted.
So I allow myself to be spotted, getting 3 reds to come for me. I start jockeying up and down back side of hill, completely baiting these guys. Went through one and a half magazines bouncing off a conqueror and t28 proto and 25/2... More bait.
Conquerer gets closer to being able to get me, he wants me bad.
Greens show up and start peekabooming him. When he aims at them, I pop out, plink a shot. And he can't help himself but to aim at me. This went on 5-6 times until he died. He never got a pen on anyone.
I was still only green in sorta sight for the few other reds. They all wanted me dead. This again let my bigger gun toting green brothers move around both sides of the castle. It was down hill from there.
I got zero spotting damage and only one pen (and that was a kill shot into the side of the proto), and I worked my ass off and made that game an easy win for my team.
This is how I get my jollies in WOT.

I concur 100%. I really enjoyed the WZ-131 and I'm getting the hand of the WZ-132 and the longer reload of the 100mm. Having APCR as the premium round is nice. |

132 is stealthiest tier 8 light imho. Yeah, and the apcr is an easy selling point on the 132 too. 85 can be more flexible but it gets HEAT.

that's one thing about lights that's a tad discouraging. you don't get assisted bait points. yo can do so much work and get so very little for it knowing that things could have gone terrribly wrond had you not been a constant distraction but then again that's why we play light tanks. not for the in game bonus but for the in brain bonus lol
we just get no love and WG is screwing thsi class over more and more. can we get some less visual bullcrap and more trees and bush mayne. there are giant maps with like 1000 trees and bushes then there are small maps with jack shit. also gotta love those trees and bushes on top of mountains and shit that serve absolutely no purpose, meanwhile every area where we would need it has like 1 little bitty half ass bush that can hardly hide an ELC ya know. its fucking terrible.
