Sweet, ready for this update. Haven't cared about the others recently! Same here. I'm most excited about the grass fix. I don't think it's in the portal article, but pain mentioned it somewhere.

I wasn't aware of that inclusion, wow. The excitement may actually be too much. Going to have to strap on some Depends while the update downloads.

I can't wait but there will only be time for a quick test of the new toys. My WoT addiction is not bad enough to make me use my vacation days.

Are the time stamps in these announcements made using a 24 hour reference? I think I know the answer but with civilians I'm never sure.

Yeah, once 24 hours have passed it shows the actual time/date of when it was posted rather than (eg) 4 hours ago. Also, if you want to find the specific time/date of when something was posted before 24 hours have passed, if you're using a PC, I believe you can hover your cursor over the timestamp and it will show the specific time. Don't quote me on that though, I use my tablet 99% of the time so cannot confirm.

I was referring to the time noted in the announcement from WG and that question kind of answered itself just by my paying attention as people commented about the update. Regardless, Thanks again for your quick response.

However as I copied it from the official forum the timestamp is in my timezone (GMT, or currently, BST) so if you're in a different timezone that time won't be accurate. Edit: I think I'm getting confused again lol. You mean the time of the server downtime, in the actual post?

Especially since I've already figured out the answer to my own confusion. My question was in reference to the way the time was written in the original announcement from WG. The one posted on the WG site.
