I'm not to shabby in the T49 but the third MoE eludes me. I'm thinking about switching my equipment up in an attempt to get better results. Currently I run the rammer, vert stab, and coated optics. I also run cola with my 11 perk crew. I am thinking of ditching the rammer and replacing it with vents. I know I'm going to take a kick in the ass when it comes to the reload but I'm hoping that I'll make up for it in other categories. What say you, oh wise tank masters?  |

I'm in the same position Spartacus. Can't break 92%, hover around 87-90% mostly. I tried switching up different combos to no avail. Awhile back when you switched guns(I think that was your post if I remember right) & went for more assist damage, I tried it too. No good for me. Plus the derp is just so fun when it goes right. I'm at a stand still, have been for awhile now. Had this battle last night, god that Motherland has(had) a great ass on her, lol!! |

I don't have it but watching my son play it, I can buy the argument about why bother with a rammer since 10% off of forever is still forever.

So now I'm running rammer, vert stab, and gld. My crew has all the vision perks and I'm running Cola. Still does a good job scouting and the aim time is a bit better when stationary. It's not great but it'll do.
WG needs to fix the soft stats for this tank pronto.

Glad I came across this. After finally getting the American Tech Tree medal, I sold my unclean M53/M55 (artillery is so boring to play for me but that's a different topic) and am starting out on my T49 quest. I am obviously going with Vert Stabs but am unsure as what else to go with starting off.
My clicker crew has BiA, Sixth Sense, Snap Shot, Camo, Green Thumb, and Muffled Shot. Any suggestions from others?

I've gone back to rammer, vert stab, and Optics. I am still running cola. This mix seems to give me the best results.
In other news I went back to the live forum and took a look at my thread concerning the aim time on the T49. Wow, just wow. Some of the responses on there are mind blowing.
I'd like just one person to explain why the bloom dispersion is worse when you move the turret verses holding the turret still and traversing the entire tank. It doesn't make any sense at all. The tank needs a buff to the soft stats when it comes to gun handling.

This little bastard is a lot of fun to play. I'm using rammer, Stabs and Vents with a good scout crew and cola. Only played a few games in it so far, just free xped to the big gun. When did they add "LAXATIVE" as a inscription? It's perfect for sneaky derping  |

I finally unlocked the t49 this morning. I hadn't finished it and just never got around to it. I didn't need much (26k free XP). Now I just need the cash to buy it.../sigh. T49 4TLOLZ!
My first inkling is to try vents, stabs, GLD (and BIA and sit aware and recon)? Nobody does that?
I've been playing the T69 a lot lately and I really like this setup on there vs. Optics instead of vents. The tank just works noticably better. (although I dont have sit aware and recon on that crew yet). I do end up spotting in it a fair bit tho... Light tanker habits and scrub teams :/

Just checked it and damn that is horrible. It is the opposite for any other tank i believe. I checked my T95E2 and Lowe and turret rotation barely moves the bloom. |

I was actually really liking the 90mm anti-light armor, anti-artillery role. It plays nice with my play style. The 152 has to be played completely differently. It's obvious though that the higher potential damage is in derp mode. TBH, I'd actually really like to have two; one with the 90 and one with the derp! Maybe Brazilian will go on sale again?
Someone said play it like the t71? Only so much. The derp cant hill pop and snap shot someone at 300m and retreat while spotted. T71 doesn't miss on circle kills either.
Having fun duoing with my son in his tho. If a red gets caught alone, I feel sad for him.
