I understand that HEAT basically doesn't work against spaced armor, and is less effective against sloped. Is there a specific angle at which HEAT will no longer penetrate? I assume it's less than an auto bounce AP angle.

HEAT works fine against spaced armor and angled armor, if anyone tells you otherwise they're a baddie and not worth listening to, while it doesn't get any normalization against angled armor it makes up for it with ridiculous base penetration values, it also has the handy ability to not auto-bounce until 85 degrees(Compared to 70 degrees for AP/APCR) which you can abuse vs sidscraping tanks with shitty side armor. What HEAT does struggle with is thick armor behind spaced armor.

Fair enough. Thanks for the insight on that!

Spaced armor can and does eat HEAT up, just not to the overly dramatic extent people make it out to be.
