Hey guys. I'm here to help with questions regarding anything in the game. From game mechanics to tank choice. From pub matches to comps. From where to go on a specific map with a specific tank to what's my favorite tank. Whatever. I'm here to help, ask away.

Equipment for my shiny new E-50 I won't bother to play until I at least get the big boy 88 on it ... ? Thinking rammer, optics, and ... spall liner? Vents? Does it have vert stabs?

I would go with Stabs/Rammer/Optics if you don't have a hefty crew. If you have a 7+skill crew go with vents over optics.

How do I get some consistency in my game? I have sometimes brillant matches, and then I can follow it up with a complete dumpster fire.

How many skills do you have and what are they? Going to move my E-75 crew into it, which has 10 skills (note that I tend to focus my heavy tank crews on survivability): BiA, 6th sense, Repairs, Preventative Maintenance, Firefighting, Track mechanic, Jack of All Trades, Smooth Ride, Safe Stowage (I think ... ), Pain Tolerance. Training Snap Shot and am about 70% done on it. Only thing that I could see switching is one of those for something like Recon or Sit. Awareness, but figured I'd do those two next. Or maybe switch one for Controlled Impact because, ya know, E-50 ... ?

How do I get some consistency in my game? I have sometimes brillant matches, and then I can follow it up with a complete dumpster fire. Well it depends how hungry you are, how bad you want it. First you need the motivation to do amazing consistently. Second you need the skill. If you have the motivation and learning capacity then the skill will come naturally. If you play casually you won't get that skill as you don't deserve it. There's a lot of aspect to doing well consistently and yet even then, no one doesn't have a bad game. Key components of consistency are: Motivation. Shooting skill. (Knowing how to lead shooting with different shell velocities from tank to tank and ammo type to ammo type.) Lead shooting, blind firing shooting at tracers, knowing common camping spots and getting free shots onto stealth opponents (ex. Firing at the corners of the houses on Erlernberg.) Knowing Armor values of each tank. Know how to face hug for brawling. (ex. When your in a facehug brawl say a E5 vs a E5 if your far away, he will shoot at your lowerplate, once you face hug him, he can only pen your cupola, don't stand still for this back up and forward at an angle to avoid getting penned.) Know how to angle specific tanks efficiently, both hull and turret. Knowing your own pen and the difference between all ammo types and how the react to different armor profiles. Knowing how to sidescrape/hulldown. Making an opponents superior DPM irrelevant with peek a boom. How to peek a boom ridgelines (usually hull down) and how to peek a boom flat surfaces (usually sidescraping.) How to bait shots around corners (side scraping) and how to bait shots into your tracks when out in the open (juking) Knowing when is the right thing to do what. Know when to retreat, know when there is no way out and you have to dpm peak a boom them before they swarm you. Knowing line of fire and blocking the line(s) of fire. Map control. Knowing the playstyle of friendlies and enemies. Knowing how much hp your friendlies and enemies have. Knowing how to spearhead a push. Knowing how to play off the spearhead. How to flank. When is the right time to flank. In a clutch situation what to do. How to single out enemies. How to kite. How bush mechanics work. How spotting mechanics work. There is just a lot of things that go with accomplishing success, too much. If you have more specific questions, let me know.

And if you are going to share crews between a medium and heavy are you sure about that? Because I wouldn't reccommend that.

Moving them permanently.
The E-75 is beastly, but I suck in it. Hard.
Gonna keep it, but rarely play it any more and hate for the crew to rot. (Have the E-100 unlocked, but have little to no desire to get it yet.) Also, the second best German crew I have is in my Panther II as of now, but has like camo, recon, and other similar skills so I'll be moving them int the RU251 once I get it (have about 8k XP left on the Awful).

If I were you I would share a crew between the E50m and Leopard and overtrain it so you can swap back and forth without having to train it back up again, once at that end game scenario and have the heavy crew for the E100. For now I guess if you're not getting the E100 any time soon use that heavy crew for the E50 and swap some skills out at a price of only 10 gold each. The skills I would have for the E50 in order are: Sixth Sense/Repairs/Brother in Arms/Situational Awareness/Pain Tolerance/Safe Stowage/Snapshot/Clutch Braking/ Off Road/Smooth Ride

Thanks for the tips!! Also: Have no intention of going past the RU as of now -- E-50M and that are pretty much my only two German grinds as of now. After that, if I feel like I need to punish myself for something, I'll get the Syphilis Bus and grind that for the Borsig.

How do i get good? Actually playing the end game meta, you know, tier 10's, actually helps. Instead of pumb stomping stat padding in E50's, you know what I'm saying?
