This video, made by The Beard Guys (there is a thread in the youtube/streamers section with a link to their channel) details some things that every player, regardless of tank choice, should know. It's really worth watching for those who haven't yet seen it and wish to improve.

seen that when i was on 11k battles, still learned something (arty zoom on map and Y for gold into silver) its a must watch for every one, short enough and hey you never know!

This taught me about the 'Y' to move arty view on map and hold down 'RB' to pan the camera a few thousand battles ago. Great video.
I was in a tier X game earlier this week and this guy didn't know how to use auto-aim! Probably AFK'd or free XP'd his way there no doubt.
