The clan seems to be dwindling by the day. Nobody plays with any regularity, and the few who do have left. I can't blame them, as the thought has crossed my mind of late.
Is it worth even keeping going? I paid the initial capital to start the clan up but I never expected it to die out like it did! The bunker forum will still be here for anyone who wants to post here.
Folks have commitments and I understand its just a game, I have no anger for anyone who would rather play for a more consistant clan.
I'll still be around to play with anyone who is up for a div!

My PC died, so I’m stuck on legends otherwise I would still be on.

I still try to play when I can, but I really only have time one day a week, when the kid is taking his nap.

I’m all for keeping it alive even for just casual play. If nothing else it shows the flag for this place and may bring in the occasional new player. Besides, I like the concept of a clan full of independent-minded players. I’m sort of libertarian like that.

I'll stick around with it, I havent been able to actively try to recruit players because I work such long and unpredictable hours.

But I’m the only one who plays legends so it’s something I guess😂

Well, I'm part of the issue I guess? I still don't play all that often -- 2 to 3 days a week -- but wanted a clan where folks were active. Have only divved up once so far, but it is nice to know there are folks available. I also want to try clan battles, which this gave me the option to do (just need a couple more boats). The rewards are insane. HOWEVER...I still obviously post here, and have y'all on my contacts list (and if I don't, hit me up) and will continue to do so until you kick me out. :-)

While I realize I'm not currently a member, I'd like to see the clan keep going. I still consider it my "home".

Necro bump - I stopped playing not long after the carrier rework debacle. Then when I wanted to try it again (about 1 year to the day), my older laptop was so full of shit it would barely run it, so I just didn't bother.
Now that WoTC is deader than dead, I'm playing Legends. I don't want to use my newer laptop to download games or game apps like WG's front door, because that's the kind of stuff that killed my old laptop, and this one is exclusive for my business. I can't afford to have it shit the bed on me.
It's a shame - I have a ton of doubloons and piles of silver waiting there. I also get the "come back to us" emails now and then offering gold, signals, even low-tier premiums ships for just logging in, which I tried to get when I could get my laptop to at least log in - which wasn't always possible.

The technical requirements of this game seem to be significant, so lots of laptops wont be able fo run it. How is Legends anyways? I won't be making the switch, since everything I've seen points to the PC version being better and more complete, but I am curious. Is it tier 7 maximum? Complete ship lines?

I don't mind Legends. I can say that playing PC gave me plenty of insight and experience that made jumping into Legends much easier, and I was competitive from the start. I'm certainly not a super hero or anything like that, and I still do dumb shit now and then (out-think myself or get too aggressive), but I also did that in Tanks and was playing at Purple WN8 level the last several months of that game (sad what they did to it).
Max tech tree tier is 7, but there is a Legendary Tier that consists of earnable ships (through Bureau missions) or on occasional rentals. Legendary sees other Legendary and Tier 7 botes. Full tech trees exist, but in comparison, and with only 7 tiers, some ships are missing, and most others are moved down 1 tier (i.e., what might be a 4 or 5 is a 3 or 4 in Legends).
Main nations are in the game right now, no Pan-Asian or Pan-European lines, but the Polish Biscuit does exist in game.
Commanders are done differently, as well. You don't have to have 1 captain per ship. You get Commanders that have multiple skill selections at 4 different levels, and you can flex them as often as you want. And that is important because you can assign a commander to as many ships of a particular nation as you'd like. However, different commanders have different skill sets to help "specialize" them for different classes of ships. You can max out your commanders with Legendary skills, which really bring some cool skills to the ship.
You use commander XP (which earns at the roughly the same rate as ship XP) and Promotion Orders and Insignias to level up your Commanders. You can use XP only to tier 6, then you need to start using Promotion orders and / or Insignias to move them up further. You earn those through chests, events, dailies, etc. As you level up, your chosen skills get better. What's nice is that you can get all your skills on your commander fairly easily by bumping them to level 6 with Commander XP, then they just get better as you bump them up further.
Oh it's also only 9v9 and the maps are a bit smaller - same maps, but just "scaled down" a bit. MM is +/- 1.
I held off for a long time, because of the money and time I spent on PC - I just didn't want to have to start all over, knowing I'd miss some of my favorite ships that I'd either have to grind again, weren't in the game, or would have to buy as premiums.
They are continuing to roll out new content and OPs and ships, so progress is good.
