I unlocked it. Still haven't played it. I can't be a part of the Motherland horde. I'll take it out in a few months. Same here and as you say, when things have settled down. I think I've had one game in it so far.

definetely worth the grind. i personally love it and have been doing well with it. damn good at earning silver, even if you use more premium ammo than necessary. it will bounce quite a few rounds if you keep facing them and its got a decently low profile. when youre top tier i feel invincible, and its easy to flank most of the large, slow turning tier ten hulks.
also not a fan of the camo though. or the 95% of people that dont know how to use it. and the games where each team has 9 of them. but i cant complain i guess bc i was one of them too, x2 crew xp was too good to miss out on.

For me anyway, it was worth the time. I haven't played too many higher Tier medium games, and was planning on starting the Russian line anyway, so it has been a good trainer for me so far.

The Mortherland is basically a hybrid of the T-44 and T-54 playstyles. The T-44 is meant for supporting through flanking, and possibly scouting, where the T-54 is more of the in your face brawler. The Motherland is sort of a flanking brawler. It's a bit odd to me, but I like it so far

Since Motherland came to the garage, the T-44 commander became an idiot - thinking he can angle the hull and deflect shots and his damage standing is in the crappers now. Motherland is fantastic. A premium better than its regular tier, imo.

I got the Motherland because hey, free premium tank. I have yet to take it out for a spin though because I have a Type 59 and I'm also grinding out what seems like a million XP on the T-54 right now. Maybe someday I'll try it out. Who knows, maybe not.

The grind really wasn't bad for me but the tank isn't all that fun....although I've only got about 10 games in it, I think. Russian overload by the end of the month.
