The French AMX-ELC (Engin Legere de Combat) was developed in the late 1950s to serve as a light, air-portable reconaissance and fire support vehicle. It had a crew of only two, sitting in the turret either side of the autoloaded 90mm gun. One drawback of this unusual arrangement is that the turret could only be rotated when the vehicle was stationery; when the vehicle was in motion, it was locked facing forward, and the vehicle operated as an assault gun. At only 6 tons weight, the vehicle was fast but very lightly armoured, relying on its low profile for protection. Even ammunition was limited by weight; the vehicle carried only 36 rounds. It never entered service, and only a few prototypes were produced,
So when do you reckon WG will nerf the cockroach???

I have two marks on mine and I'm hoping they won't nerf it. It has some significant strengths and some significant weaknesses that make it rewarding for the player who plays it well and disastrous if he/she makes a mistake. In other words there is a very fine line with this tank that makes it balanced IMO.

I also remember reading that the turret on the prototype could rotate 360 degrees when the tank is at a stand still also.

I don't think it will see a nerf anytime soon. A lot of bad players are running around in it right now and absolutely killing the stats for it. If anything knowing WG it may get a buff.
