^Hobo, i had a game like that with the tier 8 arty. In my game i figured out that T29, T32, T34, and T30 turrets are super squisy from above. (repeated 1k+ damage hits on those, which the enemy team was mostly made of). Is your BC 155.55 fully upgraded? Mine's still stock  This clutch though. last tank against 4 people, 2 of them were "Almighty Tubsta" and "Fusionstar"   Pretty much ran up to the brawl zone in the NW corner of the map. Did my thing, killed their O-I. I should have killed the red T1, T14, and DW2 but low rolled on all 3 (should have had a Pools, but RNG is all "no, won't let you"). a camping and spremming Pz.IVD and 3 arty managed to bring the green T14, M4, and T1s push with me to a screeching halt. I flanked the panzer and put a 100m shot into his arse, to much shell for it. Saved the T14 and T1. The T14 goes into base because some guys pushed across the middle. So me and the T1 go into the red base. the T1 gets pelted by arty, but i wound up flanking the light (tubsta) who is spotting for arty, while dodging arty. the LeFh rushes me and i blast him. but Fusionstar managed to kill the T1, right as i kill the Bison. So it's me vs. a Pz.IVH, a Luchs, and a sexton 1 (fusion's tank). I push on the sexton who shotguns me, but given i have about 2/3s of my health, it doesn't faze me much, idk if i rammed him or shot him, but he got boned. but the luchs is capping and i'm halfway across the map. run down the hill through the middle, keeping my turret pointed to my 10 o'clock (about the direction i would need when i crest the hill) and the Pz.IV happens to pop up and take a shot, but he missed and over extended. shoot him and he dies. at this time i'm thinking i'm not gonna make it to cap, but i noticed a track got damaged. I repaired it and picked up like 1 kmh uphill. still thinking it's not enough. I get my gun over the hill with 2 second left, keep driving, and the luchs pops up, luckily my gun was pointed right where he was spotted, but i have no time to aim. pulled the trigger right as the timer hits 0, dead luchs, and game won. |

Congratulations to you too. Thanks Dado. TBH...I don't play arty very often. I do find it enjoyable for very short stretches, but it really isn't that challenging. I think outside of understanding the maps, strategic areas on them and being able to count, it's primarily driven by RNG (rolling the dice). That said, I do have a goal to get to 3k average with the 53/55. I'm at 2.4k now. |
