Here are my thoughts on the T-50-2:
For those who are still on the fence about the tank, I'd say get it. The hull traverse is a little slow, but the power to weight ratio makes this a fun little tank. The turret traverse is good enough to keep up with it turning. The gun is a little underwhelming, but works well enough when flanking. The camouflage is pretty good and it's relatively small. So it has the potential to be really sneaky. All in all, a good little tank and worth the money, especially once it gets it's 390 view range.
Plus it makes the PC peoples Jelly.

The hull traverse is TERRIBLE! I mean fucking glacial. I love light tanks but, with the messed-up view range ( they promise a fix in 7-days) and the awful traverse, I'm severely disappointed. I think the traverse may actually be worse than the 38° they list.

I love the T 50-2. The pen can be a little low so bring lots of apcr. I bought and started playing mine on saturday and finally got an ace tanker, though I had to do 2500 damage and 8 kills to do it. I was playing purple for the 4 hours I was on. It's a blast to play.

I'm not really seeing many of them either...I'm not buying as I have a whole stable of tech tree lights and a whole bunch of Soviet trainers. 2500 is a nice battle!

I like mine.. And the end of the day, that's all that really matters. I do however believe that the Type 64 is more versatile than the T-50-2.

I've been on the fence about the thing because given its silly gun it seems like it would make a better passive scout and I tend to do poorly with passive scouts vs. active ones. Plus with the Tier VIII premium sale; I am somewhat considering a STA2 just because I don't have any JP tanks

The travers is lousy, but I really like it, overall.
But, I am a light tank guy. About 39% of my games are in lights, so I am biased.

Just don't rely on your armour. And yes the little popgun on the T50-2 is quite underpowered in a tier 9 match. You have to be really passive then, but I was getting into a lot of tier 7-8 matches. If it's a tier seven, you get to see some juicy dumb tier 5's. |

It was a Tier 7 match, so many dumb tier 5 heavies. Though I was down to my last 5 or 6 shots. I got hate mail from a tier 5 heavy driver because I killed him with APCR. I carry 30 rounds of APCR and had fired so many shots by then, that's all I had left. |

I must say I bought the thing on a whim and it is a hoot to drive. At least on open maps where you can bum rush three stupid enemy tanks and tickle them only to run away and let other tanks actually damage them. Buuuut then you swing back by and finish them off. I can imagine the carnage of there was a platoon of them flying around.
