So as you all know the freedom is the "hero tank" for the American line, a reskinned T26E4. The T26 is honestly in my opinion getting very dull after a year or so of having it. It's certainly a great tank but it is just not very versatile gameplay wise. You can only really play one flank and can't do much flanking yourself in it anyways. So, this July 4th why not a new hero tank? There is certainly a few other choices WG could choose, they could choose the T34 "liberty" from blitz, or maybe something else that perhaps we do not see very often. Any thoughts on this?

They could do the T95E2 paint it all gloss black, put a ball gag on the turret mantlet and call it the Bondage maybe?
Seriously thoug I'd bet they do the independence or something like that.

I doubt they'll replace it, but I agree. I've never been a fan of the Super Pershing.

I've only ran a few games in mine. Feels like you are driving in a foot of hot tar and the turret/hull traverse is pretty slow. I need to run more mediums. I ran the Type T-34 and had some fun games. To have something with more alpha and a tough turret would be awesome lol. I'll have to dust off the Freedom too.

Actually, I think Blitz had the T34 Independence - France has the 'Liberte'.
I like the Freedom, though I accept that a lot of people despise the flag tanks. Even after all this time people still try to pen your lower plate and as well as that hardly anyone notices the machine gun port in the upper plate. Mine has been a good silver earner and being a TOG owner I'll never complain about the Super Pershings lack of speed.
But I'd be happy to see the Independence added this 4th of July.

I wouldn't mind another ridiculous flag tank. Used to run it all the time but ever since getting the Mutant I hardly ever roll out in my Freedom anymore because the Mutant is just simply a more capable tank, and now with all the other tier 8 premiums I've acquired since then the Freedom just sits in the garage. No point in playing it when I have better tanks at my disposal.
What I honestly would prefer is that they buff the standard round penetration to about 190, and then nerf the dpm if it's found that the tank is performing too well in testing. That's the biggest problem with the SP currently, it's a slow tank with a gun that's more suited for tanks that can flank.

They really should make a T34-88 with the soviet flag on it or maybe a two tone Soviet and German flag next. We already have French, British, and US flag tanks. I think it's someone else's turn

I have the Freedom and also the T34 heavy. To be honest, I get the same feeling with the T34 as I do with the Freedom. Neither are bad but they just aren't tanks that I like to play often. I run them a couple times here and there and it is what it is. To be honest, I'm more consistent in the SP than the T34 (even thought the T34 has potential to make crazy $). Anyways, my point being, if they did another flag tank, like the Independence I'd rather it not be the T34 personally. Not because I already own it, just because it just isn't a tank that is super fun. The T95E2 would be awesome. I'm sure they could do a cool paint scheme for that tank, as it is already really cool-looking.
Or isn't there some kind of premium Bulldog that was talked about (not the Brazil)? That would maybe be a good one to do, also.

I hate my Freedom. I like flag tanks in general though. It is annoyingly slow and has trouble penning a Sherman (maybe a bit of an exaggeration). I would be a fan of the Independence if they brought it here next 4th.
