I actually like the new maps, Serene Coast, Fjords and Swamp

I also solo play mostly mediums and find the maps to be pretty well suited to my mobile play style. The West side of Swamp (spawning from the south) can be a bit of a challenge, but there are areas to sneak and peek from that direction.

Where do you go playing solo (scout or medium) on Swamp? For the life of me I can't figure out that map. In higher tier matches, along either edge or pushing the middle I always seem to get spotted. Camping does seem to be the way to go, which I'm loathe to do....

I tend to drive the T20 a lot these says and so find myself in Tier IX games and coincidentally was on Swamp low tier yesterday. The T20 has good view range and depression, so I started by staying behind the Scouts and higher tier Mediums in sniper spots but not too far back. So as the Reds were lit up, I could do some decent damage.

Then as our team moved forward the Reds would square up against them which enabled me to 'be pesky' and 'a nuisance' by flanking and moving in and out of ditches and behind hillocks to hit the bigger tanks in their sides. At one point I finished an E75 with a few shots which made me smile.

Then it was just a case of using the mobility to mop up what was left. 

If I go up the Middle then it tends to be for scouting purposes as Heavies and TDs can blast the T20 to pieces fairly quickly, especially tier VIIIs and IXs but some Tier VIIs like the T29 or the Autoloaders can be a major problem and of course the SU 152.

I find one of its greatest strengths is as a nuisance flanker. But if the fuckers bring to bear their big guns on you, move sharpish or you're badly shagged. 

I love the T20-- that and the KV-13 are my keeper Tier VIIs. Thanks for the advice

I like Serene Coast a lot, plenty to do for everybody.

Northwest is fine too, as long as you don't get a lemming infestation. There are four or five ways to go and still be successful.

I find Swamp best from the North spawn. You can play off the castle or flank the extreme North and South, just avoid the real open areas unless you have backup.
