War Thunder

Oh, and I just got shot down on take off for literally no reason by some guy on my team. That was my second match after a two month break. I wonder why that was... Populated by fucktards, worse than WoT. I mean, I did nothing. Throttle to full, rotate at 120 mph, gear up at 140 mph, and then get my wing shot off by someone guy behind me when I'm not even over the runway threshold. Jesus christ.

That's why friendly fire in games like these is bad. Could you imagine this in WOT, I would never make if out of spawn.

So I just got the Stirling Mk. I, and it's nice to finally have dorsal and ventral guns, but why the fuck is its battle rating so high? Why does this thing see Tigercats and Do 335s? I've only got through to drop my bombs once. And I assume it'll only get worse with the Mk. III, which is an even higher battle rating but basically the same aeroplane.

It's just so bad. So unbelievably awful. I can't even comprehend why it should be so terrible.

Yeah, but in real life it didn't have to fight fucking Yak-9Ts and Ta 152s did it? It'd be okay down against 109 Fs and the like, but against Ta 152s and on occasion post-war superprops, it's fucking unplayable. We're talking not even getting to drop bombs shit, not even getting to fire back shit. Not even getting over the friendly lines shit. I mean, I tried to climb up and skirt around the edge of the map, but nope, that 190 Dora had no issue climbing the two or three thousand extra feet and eight kilometres to get me.

I'm just burnt out with WoT. I haven't played it for a couple of weeks and don't expect to for a good couple of months. War Thunder's more fun.

It can be pretty rough, unless you play the Russians, then it's easy mode. 

If I'm playing WT with Fulcrum we usually use skype. Haven't played it in a while since my PC died though and I dunno when I'll be back on it. 


Slightly addicted to runescape at the moment. 

I actually had a good Stirling game! It was at night. For once, the Stirling was in its element. I crept around the side of the map, climbing and climbing. I didn't see any enemy aircraft, even though I was the target of that stupid blind hunt thing. Being a Stirling, with its 27 bombs, I destroyed one base and left the other on a one-hit kill. At this point my fighter escort had drawn off a Bf 109G, and I decided to make a rush for the airfield. All was going well, but my fighter escort died, leaving me the last alive. The first Hun to show up was a 109K. He was a clever bloke and didn't expose himself much to my fire, but eventually my .303 rear guns took off his wing. Then I got bounced by another 109K and a 190D-9 or something I survived for a bit, and tried to get in for a landing, but as I started to dive in the controls seems to lock up and I crashed. Anyway, ended the game with 2 tonnes of bombs dropped and an air kill. Unusually good for the normally shitty Stirling.

And I just unlocked the Fw 190A.
