I gather the Tortoise is a lot better in War Thunder than in WoT, mainly because you can't be killed by repeated penetrations to the machine gun barbette on the roof. IT is certainly a tough tank to take down. Only reason I've been killed in mine is because I don't have parts and FPE yet, and once where I got shot in the side by an IS-2, and two Tiger 2's at the same time. From the front it's really tough. From range it's more or less indestructible it seems. Close range you only got to watch out for other are British tanks. Sometimes IS-2's, and anything german with an 88 L/71 gun or bigger. But even then they will all have to aim for specific weak areas on the tank and the chances of the one shotting you are remote. The most common tanks to watch for I'd say is people firing APDS from the 20pdr who actually know how to aim for ammoracks. The Tortoise goes the same speed in reverse as it does going forward which is really good too  |

3 Jagdtigers all sniping the from the same ridge. One kills my tortoise in one shot by hitting my side.   Respawns in Charioteer. Snipes them from 700m using APDS. Kills all of them.  |

The Tortoise goes the same speed in reverse as it does going forward which is really good too It's not like it goes very fast forwards anyway. |

It moves around pretty well given its size, and hit's it's top speed fairly quickly. Oh and when you've had to suffer playing british tanks that only go 3 kph in reverse for ages, being able to go 20 is glorious. |

Better in survivability and killing power due to it's tier placement, the one in WoT is really good though. I did kill one of them earlier with a lucky shot from my A.43 Black Prince at point blank through a flat part around the mantlet, killed the driver |

I'd quite like to see French get some justice, but I feel there isn't much they can do to implement unless they did a French line a'la British TT, they could put some in the German tree as captured premiums and let the French have proper French vehicles in the British tree. |

I'm looking through some threads and there is some real nutters as to what might get added.
M163 VADS (Rotary cannon system)
Shilka with no radar (early prototype, don't really need to say much for one of the most recognisable and powerful SPAAG's of it's day)
Gepard, also with no radar (also, early prototype)
AND with the chance of seeing the B-32 bomber.
Leopard 1A1, T-62 as well, since the Chieftain is now most certainly a thing.]
OH and one more tidbit, IS-6 and IS-7 have been passed over to the devs for review, so we might see them if Gaijoob feel the need to fuck us even more with Soviet APHE retardation
