Here's an example. I used to be a bank teller and was new at the branch where I worked. We were required to ask for identification if we couldn't identify a person by sight. I asked a lady who was a long time customer for identification. I had never seen her before or helped her. She didn't like that. She proceeded to let me know she had been banking there for over 30 years. I was about 21 or 22 at the time. I wasn't trying to be a smart alec, but I replied, well ma'm, I haven't been alive or working here for 30 years.
My co-workers busted out in laughter at my seriousness. Sometimes I do know when I'm being sarcastic, but often it just comes out without trying. You've heard of Inspector Clouseau getting into trouble and all kinds of mayhem without even trying? Yep, that's me. Naive.

Hi LT, and welcome to the forum! I sincerely hope you find the culture here, and the people, to your liking. Personally, I have found The Bunker to be far more accommodating and inclusive than any of the WG official forums and I believe you will find the average Bunker member quite tolerant of various and sundry viewpoints. That’s not to say that the occasional individual does not get warned/censored/stuffed feet first into a wood chipper around here, but unless you are a Voldemort-level troll, odds are you will never even get a stern talking to, much less a spanking.
Please feel free to ask questions, make suggestions, post silly stuff, hurl intentional and/or accidental insults, etc. As for the salty language, well, I’m afraid that particular genie was let out of the bottle in the first few posts on this forum and I don’t foresee any way to stuff him back in. Granted, given my past, it would take something extraordinary to even grab my attention, so I really don’t notice it much at all. Whilst I do try to moderate my language here, please accept my preemptive apology for when I inevitably slip-up. Oh, and also please accept my apology for what I will also inevitably do to the English language as my typing is rather atrocious and English is my third language (Southern is my native tongue and I’m fluent in Redneck).
