I think it helps keep down the population of useless/repeat threads. All the shit has to go somewhere, plus Violet makes a good point about it providing a place for some community building and impromptu platooning.

The shitbox can be seen on mobile. For instance, when I open thebunker.freeforums.net on Safari on my iPhone 6s, at the bottom of the page it says "Dashboard" and "Desktop."
Dashboard is the mobile version. Desktop is pretty self explanatory. The latter, however, contains the Shitbox.

What do you mean by 'breaks', what specifically happens? Let me know and I can look into the problem and see if I can fix it for you |

When I'm on Chrome, the auto refresh (I guess?) button stops working and I have to click on it a couple times to get it working. It'll stop working again a short time later and I have to do it again.

Ok weird. The only time that happens for me is when there hasn't been any replies for 5 mins (which is by design apparently). Like if there's been no replies for 5 mins (or more) and you press the button it checks for replies and if there hasn't been any, auto refresh will turn back off. If you press it and there have been replies auto refresh stays on and will show replies as they're posted. That's how it's supposed to work anyway lol. |
