Help me out here. I'm looking to unlock my third tier X and I want it to be a heavy. Both of my others are TD's and I want to mix it up.
What's your favorite tier X heavy? I'll play any line. I'd rather keep my preferences out of this thread since I want your opinions first. I will say that I'm closest to unlocking the E100 and I'm not all that interested in the T57.
What's your least favorite? Of course this is pretty subjective as everyone likes different tanks for different reasons but I'd like your thoughts. Thanks for reading.

At the moment it's the E100 but that can change. It's great until it gets attacked from multiple angles or circled.
Least favourite? I sold the FV215b but it was my first tier X so i might like it a lot more now if i buy it back.

My favourite is the FV215b. In the hands of a skilled player, you have huge amounts of potential in games. It has a 7.18 second reload, with 400 alpha. This gives it the best DPM of the heavies. It has relatively good gun depression of 8°. This mixed with the fact it has a great turret and a good upper plate. The guns performance is amazing. 1.7 second aim time and something like .32 accuracy. It's mobility is on par with the E5, expect it's turret and tracks turn a lot quicker. The tank is very versatile and does well on any map. Only downsides is it catches on fire a lot. And tanks firing premium go through your upper plate quite easily.

I have 5 Tier X heavies. Maus, IS 7, IS 4, E5, and E100. My Favourite currently is my IS 4.
My least favourite is going to be the IS7. The armour and the gun dislike me very much. Unless of course I got the lemon IS7.

E5 followed closely by the 50 B(and likely 215b if I ever buy decide to buy it) I hate the rest.

T57 is my only T10 heavy. I was close to the AMX but felt compared to the T57, it didn't fit my style of aggressive play.

You should give the E-100 a go, or the E5.
E5 offers you a flexible I-can-do-it-all meta, and is generally really powerful in it's various roles, has one of the widest skill sets available on any heavy, and can do whatever you need it to do.
E-100 offers brutal firepower and strong German plating, it's a big mean bastard with a very big cannon, fairly reliable gun as well might I add for 0.4 accuracy.

T57 is the only tier 10 heavy that I own. I went up that line just because I liked the line / autoloader. So not counting that if I could have any other tier 10 heavy tight now, I'd probably get the E5. I am not on that line however, so my next tier 10 heavy based on progress will be the E100. Not sure if it will fit my style but I love the line so far. I'd like the E5 though just because it seems to be very versatile and likely fits me more than the E100.

I like the E4 much better of the two, it's a great feeling to know when I pull the trigger the enemy is taking 750+ damage nearly every time. |

Either the Maus or the E 50M. Maus can just TANK hits, and with proper angling, almost nothing can get through unless you let it. The gun is disappointing with it's bad RoF, but it's other stats make up for it a little. Favorite thing about the Maus is basically being made of anti-matter when you touch other tanks, plus with 2000 HP, you will win any and every pushing match.
E50M, it's a stupidly fast tiger 2 with a massive gun buff. What's not to like?

I have had or currently own the E5, T57, E100, MAUS, IS7,IS4, 215b. Here is my order of preference. E5, great tank I can find nothing at all wrong with it. You get away with stupid mistakes with its troll armor (althoughI hardly play it). IS4, a decent "heavy" tank. A little slow but a sweet gun. Just dont let people shoot your roof. E100, good heavy tank but large and square and a magnet of sorts. People love to gang up on it like its a MAUS or something.  215b, Sweet sweet gun, seems soft (easy to penn) but its a fun tank that just needs more skill than an E5 or IS4 to make work. MAUS, I actually like this tank for what it is. With a rate of fire buff this would be a nice balanced tank.  Seriously though, the ROF is about .8 rounds too short per minute. IS7, great tank but its a shame that a tank with this mobility should need to stay hull down to keep from being blasted back to the garage. T57, man oh man I really want to like this tank, I know its OP in the right hands but those hands are not mine evidently becuase I suck. LOL I know my main problem is I will try to pop out and dump my entire load into my target instead of just shooting the gun like a normal gun. If I can figure this tank out it will move to the number two spot for sure. |
