Looks cool, though I admit I can't figure out if that's just a close up of an actual book, well manga of it. Or just like a sign for advertising the manga stand. Nice to see them in colour, especially Orcbolg's 'Glowing Eye' thing they love to do.

I did a thing other form ignored it lmao but just wanted to see what you dudes think of me doing this thing. Good job. It looks like you used the tank characteristics on your character. Did you draw the tank too? I thought it was a photo and just to show where you got your inspiration, but I wasn't sure. I like drawing too. I wanted to try anime to challenge myself to do something out of my comfort zone. I'd like to see more of your art if you have any.

And no I didn’t draw the tank, im not that talented yet haha. And yeah it’s actually really fun drawing in anime as its not something id usually do. I do have some pics but I don’t draw too often. I like doing experiments and all and the odd concept sketch. ![](https://i.imgur.com/qXUXntu.jpg) This is a character ive made a while back and i know its a bit freaky with the face n all but thats what i love about it. But I mentioned concept sketches like this: ![](https://i.imgur.com/v43rcE8.jpg) Theyre a bit anime like but it was kinda my first attempt. I love drawing soldiers and strange looking characters or sometimes something dark.

Better than anything I could draw, but I have to admit that looking at the tracks, I'm not sure if it's possible to make them not look so solid. However that's what catches my eye the most how they look like they wouldn't bend at all or anything of the sort. Seems like if they were to actually walk they'd be completely unable to bend their legs.

I ended up not being able to get into the Goblin Slayer Q&A panel, though I did get to see the Overlord Season 3 premiere. The issue was, and there was an audible groan from the audience when it happened, It was the dubbed version.
We get the world premiere of the 3rd season and it's a fucking dub.
The writer was there though and answered some questions, which was really cool. One of the questions was "Who is best girl?"
His best girl is the yandere princess, specifically because she's so fucked in the head.

Practicing anime eyes. The eyelashes might look a little wonky. 🤓 Any recommendations on characters to draw? ![](https://image.ibb.co/cVeCjT/C90_F66_A9_6482_4_C92_A0_E8_7_F50_E9_FDD43_C.jpg)

If you're just starting out I'd something a bit simpler to practice on, like Sailor Moon.

I think I can try that character. I'm curious, is there any anime out there that has a normal storyline? lol. It was kind of strange reading about Sailor Moon and all the times there was a morph into another person. lol.

There's a whole genre called "slice-of-life" which is exactly as it sounds, it tells the story of a day in the life of a character. They usually are a high schooler, or might work at a coffee shop, or be a cubicle worker. I really enjoy action anime, but I have some favorites that are slice-of-life shows. Here's some examples: Kiniro Mosaic: A story about a girl from Japan that is obsessed with Britain and stayed there as a foreign exchange student when she was younger. Now her friend from the UK is a foreign exchange student in Japan, and it's basically the story of how they spend their school days. Chu 2 Koi (Love, Chuunibyou, and Other Delusions): A romance about a girl with Chuunibyou syndrome (Middle school syndrome, described as someone who thinks they are some super powerful hero or villain and have powers etc.), and a regular boy who used to have it, and how their relationship develops. Lucky Star: A classic, it's basically life in school for 4 girls. That's the gist of the plot. It's based on a 4-koma comic strip, so there is an over-arcing story, but the episodes aren't all necessarily connected. I love this show.

I'd probably like slice of life having to do with adult people rather than middle school. There are some movies I have liked having to do with people still in school, but most are really cheesy. Something like animated Spiderman would probably be more along the lines of anime I'd like. I think I misunderstood what was going on in Sailor Moon as well. I thought everytime she and the cat met someone, she turned into a new Sailor identity. lol. One day I might get it together. lol. 😁

Though there are obviously shows that break that stereotype. There's a recent title called "Recovery of an MMO Junkie" which was quite enjoyable. It's about a 30 some odd year old woman who quits her office job so she can play video games all day, and how she goes about making friends in the game and their relationships.

I noticed she said the girl in the game was pretty and kind of had an embarrassed look. Is that an example of a trap joke? It's more like she thinks anime girls are cute, and thinks that she is a cute character. Trap jokes would be legitimate traps existing, like a guy dressing as a cutesy girl, not just playing a female character.
So, in the game she is playing a guy character and having him talk like a guy, but it seems like she is having a little trouble with that. Like at times the way he is talking is definitely not the way a dude would approach things. Am I following along so far? Yep, pretty much.

I was actually surprised that I liked it. Made me laugh quite a bit. So at least I'll give some of the other recommendations a chance.
