Well I must say, I've played this game since day 1 and I'm absolutely loving it. It's nowhere near as bad as people say it is, I've been playing pretty much solidly and still not explored everywhere or done all the quests yet. Sure there's still a couple of bugs but it's not game breaking at all, and the best part is that they seem to be actually listening to the player base and making changes from posts on Twatter and Reddit. (They don't listen to everything but at least they listen)

Uninstalled it a couple weeks after getting it.
Trash game that sullies the franchise.

Uninstalled it a couple weeks after getting it. Trash game that sullies the franchise. I mean FO4 wasn't the best, but it had a heart and a soul, and was under the surface, a fantastic shooter and a great adventure title. FO76 just, it's a mess, a Greek tragedy.

I think New Vegas was my favourite, but I'm still loving 76. The camp building is so much better than FO4, the different regions with different enemies to fight don't make it stale. Guess it's not for everyone, maybe I just like crap games? 😬 The only thing I'm not liking is the ScorchBeasts sonic attack every few seconds.

Been playing Fallout 4 lately. Discovered some sweet mods that really make it look better and more fun. Found this one called Royal Combat power armor that is basicly a warhamner 40k space marine armor suit. Only problem is I can't get it to work all the way. It only comes up in purple and the only peice I can change is the torso. Is it the dev that screwed up or my load order?

It only comes up in purple and the only peice I can change is the torso. Is it the dev that screwed up or my load order? Xbox or PC? I don't have it installed on PC anymore since bad things happened to my old PC environment. I bought it originally on Steam along with the season pass when it was released. I didn't actually complete it though, I became suckered into meeting Preston Garbey's constant demands and sort of got bored. My son bought the disk version on XBOX I think but it is not installed either. The version that I have installed is on my XBONEX and is leased, I recently installed it only thanks to game pass license. It took a couple of days. The bit that I can't figure out is how there managed to be a saved game in the cloud of a low level character which I don't remember playing but did note it had mods associated including Deadpool and a few others. So provided mods are loadable on the XBOX, I'd be happy to test the waters. Let me know it's name and i'll give it a go.

I stopped playing WoTC over a month ago, I think I still have over a year of premium and about 12000 gold but I got tired of how gameplay could alter from battle to battle and the focus on speed and maneuverability. Although I had preordered WoWs, I didn't really get it, found myself scratching my head wondering what medal was what and pros/cons of each warship and found gameplay to be tedius and repetitive.
I completed Wasteland on my XT many years ago - loved it and invested in Every Fallout title that's landed. Despite not being part of Fallout Official Canon, I Enjoyed Fallout Tactics too. I didn't really take to Bethesda's way of doing things in first person but have mostly enjoyed playing those titles. Touted as a team type game and purely online, I didn't think i'd enjoy Fallout 76.
I started playing Fallout 76 some more post WoT. Fallout 76 was marketed with the idea that players would be tasked with rebuilding America but apart from making ones own living space complete with defensive fortifications, turrets and all manner of 1940s/50s styling, I haven't seen much rebuilding going on. In fact, it's almost the opposite, I've seen player launched Nuclear Strikes daily. The game itself is a bit buggy, suffers from spatial sound problems, longish loading times and about 10 seconds of waiting for textures to spawn fully after loading. What's worse is the game doesn't make allowances for that but it only occurs after loading into a new area or when there are lots of textures to load in. Crafting resources balance is baffling- lots of screws might be needed to make or repair lots of things but there's only a couple of items when deconstructed that produce a screws and they aren't the items that can be made. This seems ridiculous and really is when one considers, we have the technology to build guns and ammo, smelt ores, melt down metals, build generators and buildings with running water and electricity, not to mention, construct power armours and their components and laser guns but making or salvaging screws from items - nope. Gun damage and weight of weapons is also confusing for example, a 308 round is more damaging than a 50 calibre round in the fallout universe. It's better than it was but still the most damaging rifle round seems to be a .308. What's more, to make 100 X.50 rifle rounds, it takes about twice as many resources as 12X308 rounds. Oh and an assault rifle can be heavier than a broadside canon. There's also the idea that I can buy ammo and make ammo but can't sell it or deconstruct it.
One gets used to these quirks and reality obsurdities after a while.
Understanding enemy strength is really difficult. At about level 40, I found myself being able to cream level 68 Charred Scorched but utterly fail to sort out a level 21 Deathclaw and how is it that some rad roach can disease me and damage me through my power armour?
Despite it's flaws and there are many more, the game is quite stable and it's a lot more fun than I anticipated. Plenty of story to uncover, places to discover, things to kill with lots of comedic humour in the middle, Garden gnomes, manequins and teddy bears seem to be arranged by the devs for mostly comedic purposes. Whether they be setup watching watching a Cinema Screen at a theatre with a popcorn between them, gathered around a skeleton in poses depicting mourning or collectively placed inside a row boat holding oars, in a now very dried lakebed, they give me reason to pause and giggle.
One of my concerns before playing was the need to team up with other players and a thought that there weren't really any campaign, just repetitive dailies and endless boring wandering in between but I've been pleasantly surprised at how solo friendly the game is and how much there is to see and discover. I've really enjoyed wandering around West Virginia and the plotlines/subplots thus far. Currently level 68 and still have no clue as to what an end game build should look like.

I was playing on xbox til I got pissed off at the stupid game and about destroyed it. Kept trying to get that stupid space marine mod to work and still keeps coming up purple. Fucking dumbass shit, why have it on the list if its so touchy and useless (seems like you cant have any other mods and on a fresh game or it wont really work).

The creative engine is, from what I've seen with Fallout 4, Skyrim and Fallout 76 visually strange and does some weird things with lighting and physics. When it comes to user created mods, there doesn't seem to be any quality control. Some Mods don't play nicely with other ones and I think too that some are version specific in that if the game version changes, a particular mod may well break stuff or not work as intended but the issue you're experiencing is just as likely lack of quality control with the mish mash of mod developers. Having said that, there can be some which can make the game better and interesting.

The most fustrating part forme is, I've gotten it to work! Atleast all but the 1st pack and the combo pack. I got pack 2 and 3 to work. The combo pack seems to interfere withthe others, but the first one always comes up purple.
It doesn't make it any easier when the suit is located in the glowing sea. Its a loong walk just to see if a mod is working and you haven't explored the full map yet becuase you're on a "new start".
Oh well, I'll get it figured out.
