Ugh, Abruzzi. She's like a super model who's dumb as a post. Pretty as hell, fun once in a while, but I don't know if I could live with her. They gotta do something with those guns before I can spend the money.

I'm still waiting for a good tier 6 plus Japanese premium.

Unless you are enamored with the beauty of the Italian ships, and willing to play the "surely WG will buff the guns" game, the Abruzzi is a pass.

The Gascan is fun and very French. I still get a laugh out of the spood beast and the decent secondaries.

Z-39 - The only German premium DD in the game and she's good. You do have to like KM DD-style play though as the 150mm guns can be feast or famine. Huge health pool lets you survive most dogfights and her hydro/smoke/concealment combo make her a dangerous foe. Recommended.

Aigle - A tier VI ultra-light cruiser. She's big, decently fast, and hits hard. She's not a dancer like US DDs as her size makes her turns slow, and her guns seem to take forever to catch-up. That said, this big girl throws some mean haymakers and can take a beating. You need to be willing to learn her style and, while she ain't pretty, she can cook.

Roma - Friggin' gorgeous. Fast, stealth, and with rail-guns in turrets that make soviet CAs green with envy at the turn rate. Her shells have so much penetration that she can citadel BBs at range fairly easily, but will blow clean through cruisers. Hell, she could probably blow clean through one cruiser and citadel another behind it. To reliably get cits on cruiser, plan to shoot them in the ass.

Asashio - Ok, here is where my Co-Op preference bites me in the rear. Asashio is not, I repeat, not a good co-op ship. She's wasted against bots who already know where you are without you being spotted, and know that you've launched torps without those being spotted. Since I'm not a Random Battle guy, I regret this purchase. 

Massachusetts (a.ka. the Damn Yankee) - Buy it. Full stop.

        Ok, maybe a little more. Go buy it now. Seriously. I've had more fun playing her than any other BB. I'm not a BB main, and maybe that's why I enjoy her so much; she rewards play that should get you killed. Those secondaries are even better that you've been led to believe. She has all the advantages of the typical US BB (killer AA, murderous AP shells) with just a slight nerf to her accuracy, but more agility, faster turrets, and those lovely secondaries. I'm averaging 105k (only 8 games) in a BB in Co-Op. This ship is stupid fun that pays you in silver and XP for playing like a psychopath. Her ideal captain would be Krieg from Borderlands 2... The little sane guy in your head tells you "you know you're a BB, right? You're supposed to keep a little distance and use your big guns..." Unfortunately you can't really hear him over the axe-wielding maniac laughing in glee as he wades into the melee.

It’s honestly like having an Atlanta strapped to your side. The rate of fire and accuracy are the best in the game. I can’t wait to get IFHE and either AFT or Manual Secondaries. 

It is hilarious watching your secondaries firing over terrain and hitting targets. 

She’s sooo close to being good. Buff the guns and watch her star rise!

I still can’t believe they made her guns worse than the D’Aosta’s. It’s almost like WG said, “after making the Caesar so awesome, let’s screw the rest of the Italian premiums.”
