Hi guys,
Just trying to decide whether to continue with the Indianapolis grind or if I can't whether it's worth the ££ in its current state?
I'm slowly starting to come to terms with the New Orleans so how does it compare please (following the recent buffs to Indy)?
Cheers!

Did you play the Pensacola before it was moved to T6?

No sadly, I'd just got the Cleveland at T6 before the split.

Ok - then I'll break it down a bit.
Decent range for a T7 US cruiser, excellent radar, good stealth, and AP with great USN AP autobounce values that absolutely wrecks broadside cruisers.
The bad - eats citadels from dirty looks, low DPM (stuggle to do significant HE damage against angled targets).
Overall - it's a pretty good ship. I got it in a crate and have actually enjoyed playing it. I wouldn't call it strong, but it can put up good numbers. I am glad I didn't spend any real money on it.

As long as you don't mind getting citadeled by seagulls crapping on your deck, and can make her guns work for you, she's on the decent side of mediocre.

Heavy and Light only refer to the guns.

What I mean by that is that you don't have the same flexibility as you do with a light cruiser as the reload is slower so the fragility hurts it. It made sense in my head but I'm not sure it does now!
