Hi guys,
I've pretty much lost it with WoT console over the past few months and have dipped my toes in the murky waters of WoWS together with my aging & creaking laptop... It also doesn't help that Junior has pretty much claimed my xbox to watch youtube ("Kipper the Dog"on repeat *shudder*)
I'm in the UK and am usually on evenings after junior has gone to bed(!) and parts of Saturdays. My usual platoon mate in WoT has joined me but his PC has gone full potato for some reason and won't connect! I'm on the EU server.
Looking to division with like minded casual players with the aim to improve my game (the only way it can go is up right?) and also do some of those operations together. Have tiers 1 - VIII (VIII is the Cleveland, timed getting that at tier VI perfectly!). Mostly play cruisers but am working on DD and BB too.
Also if anyone can recommend a suitable clan for a muppet like me would be good

I think most of us are on NA.
I have an EU account, but I haven't been on for ages (haven't even got it installed). Think I'm only on T2 there anyway.

If you haven't progressed very far, maybe someone in our clan on the EU server can get you refer a friend code - or basically just get one from someone. You'll get a bunch of stuff initially and then more when you hit T6 (signal flags, credits, Free XP, and 2 ships). I'd love to help you, but I'm NA.

Im on EU. My voice coms are fudged at the moment but can happily division up. Im UK based as well so on most evenings from 8pm and most weekends unless im off paintballing or something like that. There was a BNKR clan on EU but was inactive so just going solo at the moment.

Welcome to Warships! The Bunker is primarily active on the NA server as of right now. Hopefully you fellows on EU can get it active again.
If you decide to make the jump(however unlikely) to the NA server there are many members who would be more than happy to help you through.
If you search through the topics on the sub forum here you will find many helpful pointers and contributions from all members, and many of us read reviews of ships from Little White Mouse and of course the Wikia can be extremely helpful in learning the basics of a ship you may be struggling with.

Thanks As my internet connection can be compared to a slack piece of string between two tin cups at times, I don't think the NA server is likely for me to be able to use. I am indeed watching the crap out of LWM's guides and other CCs' videos!  I'm also lurking like a very lurky thing on the NA and EU forums hoovering up as much (good) information I can find. Must buy Derpitz now (j/k). BigChris, cheers bud, going to add you as soon as the game has loaded. TBH I'm not sure this laptop can manage WoWs and voice comms at the same time...! Cheers! |

I really wish we could play on whatever server we want, like tanks on console -- if so, I'd certainly div up with ya!
Not sure why they keep them so separated, other than to maybe ensure server populations/minimize lag ...?

Different companies I think too (certainly different EULAs).
Yeah, it should be one account across different servers IMO, just like with WoT console.

Pretty sure that the NA Server is run by Wargaming in Baltimore. Where as EU is run by the Paris and Russia offices. Two Different Subsidiary companies under the wargaming umbrella. Bit Like WOT console and WOT PC.
That aside, had some good games with sonic the hedgehog last night and look forward to more.
You MUST remember to put camo on your ships though. I dont want to see your naked New Orleans again lol.

Lool, thanks Chris! TBH I don't want to see the NO again either - not as much fun as the Pepsicola... And yes, I am trying to remember to dress appropriately Trying to get the Yorck and some higher tier BBs and DDs now... WG EU just moved to Prague from Paris I think. |
