They've released the downtiered CAs on supertest. ST, American cruiser Salt Lake City, tier VI (ex-Pensacola, moved one tier down, the stats were corrected accordingly) Hit points – 31200. Plating - 19 mm. Armor belt – 76-102 mm. Torpedo damage reduction – 4%. Main battery - 2x2 203 mm, 2x3 203 mm. Firing range – 14.2 km. Maximum HE shell damage – 2800. Chance to cause fire – 14%. Maximum AP shell damage - 4500. Reload time - 15 s. 180 degree turn time - 45 s. Maximum dispersion - 131 m. HE initial velocity - 792 m/s. AP initial velocity - 792 m/s. Sigma value – 2.0. Maximum speed - 32.5 kt. Turning circle radius - 620 m. Rudder shift time – 9.1 s. Surface detectability – 12.8 km. Air detectability – 7.8 km. Detectability after firing main guns in smoke – 7.3 km. Current stock Pensacola has the 8"/50 guns, which as far as I know were a test-only gun, and never installed on any active duty warship. Her upgraded guns are the 8"/55s, which were much better, and rotate faster (though not 20 seconds faster). I'd be surprised if the downtiered Pepsi doesn't get the 55 caliber upgrade. |

So this is the first of the light cruisers? No, this is just Cleveland moving up to tier 8. Are any of the light cruisers expected to have torpedo's Only Phoenix and Omaha have torpedoes. The USN removed them from all their cruisers early in the war, viewing the risk of them detonating on-board didn't outweigh their usefulness in battle. |

But let us assure you, that they’re going to begin getting balanced very soon, and the stats will be modified depending on their new tiers.
