Greeting tankers,
Thank you for the welcome. I hope we can proceed without interruptions and stat-shaming.
I am here to discuss my alternative "boot & scoot" setup and strategy for my Light tank operations. I Up-Armor my Lights and make them as fast and bullet-proof as I can manage. NO Vents (they slow you down). Instead I go with Spall Liner, and the Suspension/Springs, and then Coated Optics. In my Lights, I NEVER stop, and when I do I am usually dead quick, because I am almost always under tiered. The Spall Liner keeps my crew healthy, and my tank operating fully, longer. The Suspension/Springs keep me moving forward.
As part of this strategy I will repair my tracks, while on the move. While this is a debatable strategy in the game, I do it because it 'made sense in my head'..."Hey guys I found a loose pin on our left track, should I knock that in, or wait until we are stopped and about to die?" How could that be considered wasting a repair kit??? Don't you want all of your tank in the best health possible for engaging an enemy?
Lastly, I watch Turkey Tanker...he is NOT a spotter. He uses his light like a sneaky-Pete-super-sniper medium.
I do not want to drive like that, especially his slow tiny circle around a Heavy. I guarantee he gets tailpiped a lot sweeping up kills like that. As an attack tank he is foregoing his spotter duties, which is FINE if you want damage and kills, but MY play is very very different. My play intends to induce team involvement, providing other teammates the opportunity do well. Which is one of the reasons, I think, that so many people enjoy playing with me. I will always rush to save someone, sacrificing myself for the sake of a Heavy, TD, or Arty. I put myself in harms way to give them eyeballs.
Turkey doesn't take such risks, or at least he didn't in the videos I saw.
So, what say you, Light tankers? Wanna try an alternative load out and strategy?
---

You use liner and springs? Vents and rammer or vert stab or even binocs would work, but liner and springs?... Each to their own but you're wasting 2 slots there. Up armoured and bullet proof and light tanks aren't compatible, lights rely on NOT getting shot, armour etc shouldn't be on a light tankers mind as the best they can hope for is a fluke bounce.
You shouldn't try to focus on equipment to mitigate damage as you shouldn't be taking any in the first place, or as little as possible at the least.

Wanna try an alternative load out and strategy? --- ETA: I'm about to start streaming...FYI Having read threads on other forums, I honestly still can't make my mind up as to whether or not you're trolling, or just trying to generate traffic to your channel. As a gentle heads up though, if you didn't like what was being said on the other forum, you're really not going to like what is undoubtedly going to be said here. Edit: Just re reading your first line about stat shaming, well I'm going to interrupt as well (see what I did there). On the other forum, you weren't being stat shamed, people were calling you out on providing knowledge to players, old and new alike on the basis that it was a good idea, but your stats proved otherwise. You were either unwilling or unable to process that, and resorted to childish gibberish whenever it was mentioned. Lastly, good luck with your "ignore list" here.

Oooooooo. According to your stats you need to do more damage. Another reason why you should stop playing light tanks now. There is no point to them. You cannot sit back and pray your team actually shoots at things you spot. Most maps are terrible for lights in general too. Give up.

King
Time and time again I've told you - Spotting ribbons mean absolutely nothing. You may spot a bunch of tanks, but you end up dying before your team can do anything to the tanks you spot.
Your equipment choices are totally useless, and when you have those useless equipment choices paired with your barely average skill level..... Well... You don't have the shoot-on-the-move skills/equipment you should have as a light tank player.
You go on and on about a Match Making algorithm that keeps people at or around 50%, yet you have zero credible evidence to support it. Reasonable evidence. Not a theory.
You are a barely average player, spouting your bullshit conspiracy theory about MM to people and you use your Mixer as a bully pulpit.
You say your setup involves the team, yet you rarely get any spotting damage from your spots. Fact. You rarely get your own health points in damage on the reds.
Your ONLY tanks with over 1,000 damage per game are arty. 4 of them.
I have more damage per game than in my tier 4 Marder 38t than all of your tanks except your 4 arty (Which are your top 4 performing tanks when you look at average damage per game). Even then, my Marder 38t is within 100 damage points within your 3rd and 4th rated tanks.
You have no place to tell people how to run a light tank, even if it's how YOU perform, nor do you have any room to speak on the "rigged match making' because you obviously need something to blame your poor performance on.

Watch his live stream.
He is fucking useless.
He brags about his Luchs and how good he is in it, but he can't even pull down more than 280 damage per game in it. After 3,400 games.

I'll be sure to post some more 10k assisted damage games on Ruinberg. I'm obviously one of the worst players in the game. I should really be suicide scouting and sacrificing myself for teammates who get themselves in trouble.

I agree you hit the nail on the head with a hammer. Turkey never spots. I struggle sometimes with spotting myself, would love to platoon sometime to get some tips and tricks from a pro. I have all the tiers but I like only playing tier 4 if that works

Today's stream was amazing.
Not in relation to player skill or common sense, but just pure entertainment value.
